I'm already 8 mths preg. and it seems this pregnancy has been the one from h__l compared to my 1st one. I can barely walk from pelvis and back pain. When I first heard I was preg. the 2nd time I was so sure they we're going to tell me it was twin ( a gut feeling) but they said one. My stomach is so huge and the symptoms so different from the ist one. Can I still be pregnant with twins and for the doctors not to have noticed it? Will some one pls answer I'm really desperate and nervous with this thought, I've heard of stories in which people didn't know until they went to labor.

I have a friend who had twins and didnt find out until she was in labor , but she told me that one twin was hidng behind the other and that was why the twin was not detected on ultrasound, but keep in mind this was 29 years ago, and technology has improved.
