Chances Of Twins Multiples

everyone whos conceived twins - October 1

This will be my absolute last response to hmmm...... dh is against two pregnancies as they will more likely be 9 mo gestation for 1 and then waiting for my body to heal ( about a year) and then another 9 mo gestation. We're getting older and he's against having kids at a later age because we want to be in the game..not on the side lines. He's Not against the possibility of multiples. Infact .... he'd like twin boys if at all possible. I NEVER said that he did not know. What I did ask was if anyones doctor suspected that Clomid was used to enhance the chances of twins. Husband knows about the Clomid. Doctor does not. Also, CLOMID IS LEGAL! A few posts up, there was someone who was concerned about telling the doc about using Clomid due to Insurance not covering. That's all I wanted to know, but you feel the need to evaluate my healthy marriage. I laugh! But anyways, I actually think it's kinda funny how I asked a simple question about doctors reaction to using Clomid and I get Preached to by some know it all! Once again..don't judge me....only God can! Say what you may...but this is the end of it for me HMMMMM. God Bless

uh, say what? - October 1

Clomid is only legal if you've got a prescription. Never said otherwise. If you want to have twins and your doc gives it to you, more power to ya. If said doc is monitoring you while you're taking it and knows you are looking to get twins, more power to ya. The issue in question here is whether you are getting it with a script and if you're doc is keeping an eye on things. If so, great! Good luck!! Awesome!! If not, stupid!!!! And you say WE can't get our facts straight. And, by the way, we've found several spots where some of you have stated that you were lying to your dh's, never said all of you. Learn to read and stop skimming!!!!

Hey guys...wow! I finished my clomid yesterday and am still bleeding from AF...is this normal?

Amanda - October 1

SarahLee: Yes clomid can effect AF. I would usually go 4 days before clomid. After I would go 7 sometimes 8 days. It can even cause your flow to be lighter or heavier. Its nothing to worry about unless it goes on for more than 10 days. Then you may want to talk to your doctor. Hope this helps. Baby Dust!!!!!!!

AF finally stopped...now waiting for O

For Anyone? - October 4

How soon after ovulation should you start to feel pregnancy symptoms? I think I might be pregnant but its only been like a week? Should I be getting nausea and stuff already? I am, but pregnancy test is coming up neg cause I think its too soon.

Ladies, it is quite clear as to why some of us on this board and some of us are just being judgemental and silly, who don't actually stop to think they are wasting their keyboard time to make remarks which are going to be ignored and cause uncessary stress which may actually affect people's stress levels and ultimately their pregnancies - so, for those of us here who are quite friendly and share common thoughts, when such negativity appears pls click the blue tab on the top right side of the message labelled 'Poor Taste' and this way the website administrators are made aware and the message will be taken off - so you see it's as simple as that. BABY DUST TO ALL*****

Amanda - October 4

That is a wonderful idea Sunita. I wish I would have thought of that. Nip it in the bud and not have to worry about it.

The poor taste b___ton is for comments that are actually in poor taste ( cursing, name calling, obscene phrases), not just of a different opinion. Lets not abuse the administrators that have to go through and read these to see if they are acutally in poor taste.

Hi everyone!!! I love this board! I just stopped taking bcp and ordered my clomid online, (currently waiting on the mail) I am trying to figure out what days to take it?? Also, do you start out taking 50 mg or 100 mg? I have miscarried twins one time before and one successfull pregnancy since then!

Julie - October 4

Lauren - Good Luck tomorrow at your appointment! Let us know what happens! I'm moving along slowly...pretty much the same as my last post. Sick, tired, and achy down there. My stomach has already popped out. My husband thinks it's SO funny that I look "8 months pregnant"...not really, just what he says... and I'm only 6 weeks. I don't think I can hide it for much longer, which is unfortunate because I didn't want to tell anyone until the 2nd trimester due to my last m/c. But, like I said, I won't be able to hide it much longer. My stomach even shows up when I'm wearing my HUSBAND's t-shirts! It just catches on it whenever I move...it's not busting out of it or anything. But, it's definately easy to see! Oh well! I hope that's a good thing...meaning it's a healthy pregnancy and moving right along. How is everyone else doing? Good Luck again tomorrow, Lauren! Talk to you all later!

Amanda - October 5

Good luck tomorrow Lauren. I am doing good. I only get nauseas maybe once a day now verses all day long. Still tired. My husband just went to 12hr shifts so he can't help much around the house now. Yawning more now as a result to doing more. I can no longer b___ton any of my shorts without being very uncomfortable. I can still zip them though they are getting tight. I was hoping to make it to 12wks before I brought out the maternity clothes. I will be lucky to make it to 10wks. LOL . I am 9wks today. Let us know about your appt. Good luck!!!!!!!

Amanda - October 5

Almost forgot. I was around 16 weeks when I felt my daughter move for the first time. According to my Pregnancy Book, the baby can start moving its limbs during the 9th week. Although most women don't feel it till much later.

Hey guys! It's been a long time. Congrats to all the lil bean carriers! We are progressing along....that's including the triplets. I'm due in February and even though I'm larger than life! I've enjoyed reading the updaates. Carrying triplets has been taxing on my body but all continues to be well.

Sunita - October 5

Nice to hear you're progressing well Kim. Well done!
