Geewife1 ~ My friend got very sick on Metformin also. Our RE figured out it was the particular generic brand. Maybe you could try a different generic, or maybe brand name, and hopefully not get sick :) The cysts are so strange. My OB in my 20's insisted I didn't have PCOS becasue he didn't see the cysts. However, when I was 19, the cysts were presents and I was diagnosed with PCOS. Very frustrating as a patient. I sympathize with you :) Best of luck. Keep me posted!

sammommy I live in j-ville fla. I know of a RE name Kevin Winslow at Baptist hosp.He is great I have heard over hundreds of success stories with him he has been around for years one of my aquaintances went to him and she had bad eggs they had to use her sister eggs and her husband sperm but she carried the twins sucessfully. And they are beautiful. That too drastic for me but she is so happy she is beside her self. The good thing with this doc that he is in my network my co- pay will only be 25 dollars and plus my cost after ins. of course. My plan even paid for clomid I only had to pay 10 because of my medical conditon. So if my obgyn can't get it right she will send me probaly to him. but like I said before I don't want to try anything drastic I want to see how far I go with clomid. But at least with Re He will do all the follow up test with clomid unlike my obgyn. Thanks for the support Sammommy. I might need to check into to other brand names of metformin I will talk it over with my obgyn in my next apt in 6-8 weeks.

thanks for the advice geewife, but no i wont be taking clomid this month as i had alot of bad cramping last month and want to just leave it and try something natural. whats robtussin? isit prescribed?

hope3 robitussin is not prescribed you can go to cvs, walmart, walgreens anywhere that cough medicine is sold and buy it. it only cost about 6 bucks. You take it as if you have a cold I think you take 1 teaspoon 3 times a day. Research has showed that robitussin not only looses up musous in the chest but also muscus in the v____a. If you google in robitussin and v____a muscous or ask google a question like does robitussin help get you preg? does it help losen cervical muscous? you will read some forums that other women with thick muscous used robitussin and they got pregnant. Also if you want to try something else that is natural you should try Ovulex it is a natural supplement no chemicals involved. It has a 91% sucess rate of becoming pregnant within 3-6 months. If you don't become pregnant within a year you get a full refund. If clomid doesn't work for me this ovulex may be my second alternative. I have been doing research about it and I haven't heard anything negative at all about it and you don't need a prescription. But google ovulex and read about it and see if this may be a natural alternative for you. I just found out about it. If I knew about it I would have tried it before clomid. Hi i am new to this forum and I took my 2nd cycle of 50mg Clomid about a week and a half ago so I am in the waiting stage of knowing if I am pregnant. I am just a little frustrated because my doctor didn't explain much to me about the med so I've had to look online for most of my answers. Me and my husband would love more than one but would be thankful for whatever miracle we get. Me and my husband have been trying for about a year and a half since he returned home from Iraq and after a year went to the gyno and he gave me two months worth of clomid and if we don't get pregnant this month he wants us to see a specialist. It can be so stressful at times. Does anyone know if you can still get period symptoms (like you do before your period) and still be pregnant? anyways I would love to hear more success stories. When I got pregnant with my first, I was cramping just like a period and was moody so I thought for sure it was my period coming. Nope, I was pregnant so yes, the symptoms can be just like a looming period when you are in fact, pregnant.

hope2beamom-Hi. I am also new to this forum. I posted something a while back, but got no responses. I recently took my first dosage of 50 mg Clomid. I go back to the doctor this Friday to do a Progesterone test to see if I ovulated or not. I really hope this Clomid works. Are you taking anything else besides the Clomid?

Hope2beamom, I felt like I was going to start my period when I got a positive result almost a week ago :) I had cramping and swollen b___sts. It was my first cycle of Clomid and I took 100mg on days 3-7. To all ladies wondering about ovulation, I swear by the follicle scan I mentioned in previous entries!! There is no guessing involved. You will know if you have eggs ready, and when you will ovulate. Push for it with you Dr.s. It is invaluable!!

I have (PCOS) my OBGYN put me on Clomid 50mg with metaformin 1000 mg and also taking an prenatal vitamin once a day. I just ended my second round of clomid and I'v been having little ab pains and on my sides where my ovaries are. I took a pgt, a few day's ago but it was negative. Is it possiable I could be pregnant? And do you think I should retest soon to see if i'm pgt.?

Hey everyone! I got my BFP today!! It only took two cycles of 50mg of clomid! I'm very excited but understand it is still early and my first appointment wont be until i'm 8 weeks a long. I'm so excited! To answer your question elwood I pretty much just took clomid. i did take robitussim before ovulation and of course prenatal vitamins. so sammommy you got a positive? congrats if so! and best luck to everyone!

Thank's sammommy. I started bleeding and my lower back has been in pain all night don't know what to do or what is going on I was thinking of calling my OB and seeing if that's supposed to happen or not but I haven't stopped bleeding all night.confused?

Hi, Could it be that the ovulation kits shows wrong date when you are ovulating? because i looked up on net to see when i will be fertile and it said different to the kit.

!Congrats to Sammommy and hope2beamom! I am still waiting to test myself to see if I am preg. I am suposed to start my period any where from today up until fri 21st. I am scared to take a test because I am afraid of seeing the BFN. I have a ?. A few days last week I saw very very light brown when I went to the bathroom. Last night after my husband and I intercourse this morning I saw a very light pink and little brown. But I haven't seen it anymore. But I just think I am reading into it a bit much. It is probably my AF coming around the coner. But my ? was did either of you guys see this? I heard that sometimes this is called implantation bleeding. I am defintely feeling like my AF is around the corner. If i am not preg. hopefully next month will be my turn.

geewife1- I hope everything turns out good for you. I have heard of that implantation bleeding. But, if not this month for us-maybe next month. Congrats to everyone who is pregnant!
