hi everyone, wishing all the pregnant ladies a successful birth and soon BFPs to the rest of us.
AFM I am scheduled for an Ovarian Drilling surgery on Wednesday because clomid hasn't worked for me. The doctor said I have alot of testestrone in my ovaries and that's why I dont have regular periods and don't ovulate. He says after the drill, my period will be regulated and ovulation will occur regularly.
I died about 3 times after watching on youtube what ovarian drilling was but I think I need it so I'm going to go ahead with it.
It costs about $3000 but my government is paying for it under medicare so I'm happy. Apparently the benefits of it outweigh the negatives with an 80% chance of regulated period and 50% pregnancy.
Has anyone got this proceedure done to her before? I'm kind of excited but nervous.

Do any of you ladies know what it means when they say you have more follicles than normal. I was informed that 10 on each ovary is normal i have 20 on each. Any knowledge on this

I just took my first cycle of clomid, days 5-9 and got my positive ovulation on day 16, I am due to start my period on the 30, when should I test to see if I am pg? will I b able to test b4 the 30 and get an accurate reading?

Miriam, good luck with the ovarian drilling. I heard that it brings a lot of success in achieving a bfp.
Ang, I have no idea, but I would guess that its due to pcos.
Waitingformiracle, I'm sure this is too late, but you're supposed to test about 14 dpo for more accurate results.

What is actually interesting I forgot to mention my I had my appointment with the RE already and he said that I do not have pcos. Have my phone ran the point mint on wednesday and sperm count thursday with my fault pointment on thursday hopefully I will find out. Hopeful how are you

Hope all results come out great for you, and they can finally get you to your bfp. Afm, I'm doing ok. Switched my RE, because the other one seems to be a quack. They are planning to start me on injections, now I'm just waiting for approval from my insurance company. This site is dead now, I feel bad about that, especially I'm sure there's more people with this problem looking for support. Everyone is on fb now....quite a few ladies got their bfps, about 4 in May alone. I sill check here often, and post whenever someone posts. I will keep you updated on what's going on with me. Wish you the best of luck.

Miraclebebes - I am so happy to hear that you are doing so well in your pregnancy! I just wanted to let you know that I too was very anti-facebook and got rid of it several years back with no plans to ever rejoin. I created a new email adress that no one I know knows and set up a Facebook profile under that email. This way, no one I know can find me and I won't be tempted to check out profiles of ex's etc.. The only friends that I have on Facebook are the lovely ladies from here. Anyways, I don't want to pressure you but just wanted to let you know that you aren't alone and there are ways to join without everyone you know finding out :)

I have a hysterscope on wednesday to check my tubs and everything. Then sperm count on thursday for DH and then follow up with RE on same day. I am real nervous. Excited and scared
