Bpink – Congratulations! I am so happy for you! Think positive thoughts and I know you will have a hh9m. Jessica – I am doing okay. Taking it one day at a time, and waiting for AF to come so I can discuss with my RE on when we can start trying again. I’m sorry you got hit by those storms and power outages. It’s been crazy lately! That is great news that your ins will cover most of the cost – takes a little of the pressure off. My fingers are crossed that this will be your month!!! Welcome to all the news ladies!

Jessica: thanks so much for the welcome! this forum has provided a great deal of knowledge and support. it really gives me hope that one day we will get to have a bundle of our own someday! it's been three years of trying and it can be very discouraging for us sometimes. i hope that clomid is successful for you! are they starting you on 50mg? saw it is 3-7, just wondering. i really like my new doctor and our plan is to run 6 cycles of clomid. we're on our 4th now. he hasn't discussed our next option yet, which i am not sure what it is, but think it may be IUI. if you don't mind me asking, what factors do doctors consider when suggesting the treatment? my husband had variocele surgery to correct low motility and count which was successful after 6 months. the doctor doesn't feel that the count is as big as an issue any longer.

Hello everyone! I am freshly new to this forum. I am 26 and DH and I have been trying to conceive for 2.5 yrs. These last couple of months I had hormone testing done as well as charting my BBT. DH has normal-low sperm count. My hormone testing came back great and both the test as well as charting show that I do ovulate. However, my hormones show that while I do ovulate, I dont have great follicles which may be why we are having problems. Seems like a simple fix right? I hope so. I am expected to start on Clomid 5-7 in a couple of weeks and may I say I am not only nervous, but extremely excited!! I hope this is the break we are looking for. In combination with the medication, I will be using Preseed to a__sist his count to get where they need to go. I look forward to being a part of this forum through this time for advice and encouragement!! Thanks :)

Haven't been back on this site since June 2011 so I'm not up-to-date with everyones postings but thought I'd fill you in with my success stories while using clomid 50mg. Fell pregnant on my first round and had a beautiful baby boy (now 2 years old) back in June 2010, fell pregnant on my second round in August 2011 but had miscarriage, fell pregnant on my second round in Dec 2011 and I'm now I'm currently 32 weeks pregnant :) Hubby and I saw 'HER' via ultrasound and she's doing wonderfully. All I can say is clomid worked for me but TRYING to stay positive and not stressing (easier said than done) might have helped me. Good luck

Bloodwork results said i ovulated, prog. level is a 12.36. i'm not having sonograms done to measure follicles and feeling a little discouraged that my level dropped from a 26 to 12 between cycles. they said they are going to keep me on clomid 150mg for two more cycles and then we will discuss the next steps. just wondering if has anyone experience a drop in their prog. number on the same mg of clomid between cycles? also, does anyone have any success stories of a BFP using clomid 150mg on their 5th cycle? katsunshine: congrats on your BFP!

Congrats to all the newbies and new moms and bfp!!! I had my daughter two weeks ago. She is perfect! All our dreams have come true. It is a lot of work but so worth it! Keep trying ladies!!! Labor was tuff. I had pre eclampsia so i had to be induced...i checked in to tge hospital thursday night and didnt have her till saturday night! Ended up having a c section because i wasnt dialating. It was a long road but so worth ir

peef - July 15

In his hands - fantastic!! what is her name? I was induced too, due to my husband's cancer treatment and having to time it so he could be there. The first 24 hours on the pessary were tough - I was alone, in major pain and not seeming to be making any progress. But I was taken to deilvery and put on the drip at 3.15 and she arrived at 7.26. I was dreading a c section because i have to look after my husband as well as my baby, but it all worked out! All the best to all my old friends and the newbies. To give you hope, I was 44 last week, we tried for 2 years following a mc, tried 3 rounds of clomid, thought it wasn't going to happen for us and got a bfp a few weeks after stopping all clomid, opk, and all the other stuff we do every month! It will happen for us all in God's time!

AFM - well today is cd 5 and I am on my second round of clomid (50mg cd2-6) trying not to think too much about it all this month because I have been reading way too much into every ache and pain I have and been over a___lyzing everything and constantly reading stuff online I am stressed enough with everything and certainly don't need to be adding to it so I am going to try and relax as best I can and just hope and pray that everything will work out for us good luck to you all and buckets of baby dust from Ireland to you all xx
