Did anyone else not have a period for 3+ months and your doctor put you on Provera and Clomid the first time ? I just finished my Provera today and I'm waiting for my period. My doctor wants me to go ahead with the Clomid even though I havent had a period in months. From what I have read others did it different. He did tell me to get a O kit and start using it. My hubby and I are so ready to be parents I think I would do anything at this point.

shaneesah - I know it's so hard to do but don't give up and DO NOT whatever you do let this get in the way of you and your husband. When the Good Lord gives you these desired children, they will leave you one day and it's your hubby that will still be there. Have you gone to a specialist and were you monitored on clomid, how did you respond? Don't give up dear, hang in there a little longer. Praying for you.

ttcasimonsbaby - A lot of times, since you haven't had a period in a while your body will really clean itself out with provera and will respond pretty great to clomid, I hear of women doing this all the time. Of course under their Dr.'s supervision.

Hello all! I've been in posting just for a few days, but my God! I can see how women's hearts can trascend, support one another, cry with the pain of others going through your same aching life dream. I've found myself now praying not only for my baby dream, but for all of yours too, and I know it's mutual! Shaneesah- I can't imagine such a long time trying, waiting and praying. My only advice is that do not undervalue your current blessings, (your husband, family, friends) for the ache of not getting what your heart wants (just yet) Sending lots of light to all!

Hello ladies! I was very active on this site back this time last year.I wanted to re-share my story in hopes of inspiring and helping others. We had a miscarriage in sept of 2010 (after loosing my mom 3 months before). I started clomid in february of 2011. It was a tough road. I was on 50mg for 4 months with no luck at all. On the fifth month i was upped to 100mg and my dr added hormones. I got pregnant that month. But at 6 weeks- no heartbeat, 7 weeks no heartbeat- doctor told me to come back in a week but to prepare myself. I was destroyed, but went back at 8 weeks and there was the heartbeat. The pregnancy was rough but totally worth it when I gave birth to my son on my due date of March 21, 2012. He was a healthy 7 lb 11 oz 20 inch long baby boy. He is now 7 months old and the chunkiest little boy with 4 teeth! I hope I am not upsetting anyone but i just want to encourage yall. all the ups and downs it is worth it. I will continue to pray for all the ladies on this site. love, prayers and baby dust to you all!

Good Morning Ladies! No dizziness today....hooray! Guess with that first dose my body had to do a little adjusting. I am already on cd5 and will begin injections on Sunday, DH says he is excited to give them to me as there is NO WAY I could do it myself; I'm a chicken. lol. Either way, I'm blessed. :) P.S - Seems like the site is really picking back up, great job ladies!!! Keep the postings and updates coming. Yesi - I completely agree with you. These women on this site come together and lift up each other so much they become like family. Holly - Thank you so much for your encouragement. I absolutely love when ladies come back on to give their journey stories and I say journey stories b/c it just wasn't a success story but a journey that went along with it. Not everyone gets it their first try. Congratulations on your little 7 month old, We all can't wait to join the club. :)

Okay so its been 2 days since my last Provera pill and no period yet... this waiting game is for the BIRDS...... I'm so ready for the next step one my LONG (almost 14 month) journey. My Clomid is sitting on the counter just looking at me.... and it's killing playing the waiting game. Anyone have any advice on what to do to pa__s the time.

After a very emotional argument last night, he told me he will leave if i keep this obsession up about getting pregnant. I have decided to try hard not to get obsessed with it, and concentrate on something else for now, it is hard. I have put on weight due to being depressed and underactive thyroid. My whole attention is going to go towards losing weight, and not babies. I have only put on a stone over what i should be. Baby dust to all of you, and i am so happy for those that are pregnant. xxx

Good Morning Sisters! So last night was my last night of femara and my first night of injections. I've been having headaches since I started femara, some days better than others and I've never had that before and have not gotten pregnant so maybe that's a good sign??? Either way, the injection last night wasn't bad at all, hubby did it like a PRO! I was so proud of him and it didn't hurt at all. I've been having cramping ovaries switching from right to left so I know that's a great sign the follicles are growing. It switches from right to left so I know I'll have some on both sides, can't wait for Wednesday. And DH has been so supportive but just trying to keep my faith and let God. ttcasimonsbaby - YAY! So glad your period finally came, praying you get your BFP. What dose are you being started off with? shaneesah - I'm really sorry with what you are going through. Maybe the break of focusing on something else is exactly what you need to get your BFP. Praying for you and DH, hang in there and don't give up.

seb02a - November 12

Argomez - I am so happy to hear that you are feeling your ovaries and everything's working as it should. That is always GREAT news! I'm glad you're husband is so good at giving the injections, I would be a nervous wreck if mine had to do it lol. I can't wait to hear that you got your sticky bfp this month :) Shaneesah - I'm so sorry that you are having to go through that. The stress of ttc is hard enough with dh acting the way he is. Argomez is right, hopefully focusing your mind on something else will really help and you'll be able to get a bfp soon

ttcasimonsbaby - How exciting, we are also praying first time is a charm for you! mjournie - I'm so glad you are already feeling better. You are going to feel like a whole different person just after your first appt! Ladies, I need prayer. I went to the bathroom and had quite a bit of blood mixed with discharge and called my Dr. He said it was okay and not to worry but that's so hard to do when I'm cramping on my left side. if it continues or progresses I have to call back but I so want everything to be okay with this round, please pray for me.
