Sabbra - Congrats to you and I am very happy for you as well. I will keep you in my prayers for a healthy and happy pregnancy. Please keep us updated on how things are going. Also if you don't mind can you tell me what your treatment plan was. I am on my 3rd round of clomid/estrogen/progesetrone. I am also 40 so my time is running out. I am currently on cd 12 I took 50mg of clomid on cd 3-7 and then I took the estrogene 1mg 3 pills 2 times a day on cd 8-12 and I am to bd on cd 10-16 but I started on cd 9. today I am going to start using my opk test strip the ones I got off the internet I only have 7 left so keeping my fingers cross that I ovulate around the same time. Last cycle I ovulated on cd 15 and the cylce before that I ovulated on cd 13. I am to start taking the progesterone gel starting on cd 17 until I either get AF or a bfp and if I get the bfp then keep taking until I am 10wks. Also I can take a hpt test on cd 27 & 28. This is the treatment plan my doctor gave me. I think I am ovulating or getting ready because my right ovary is really hurting. Take care of yourself and have a nice weekend. Krissy68

Krissy68 - This was my first round of Clomid 50mg x 5 days after taking Provera to start my period. I was also on Metformin 500mg 2x daily and Prozac 20mg 1x daily. I honestly thought that there was no way I was going to get pregnant. I haven't ovulated regularly in 12 years. I wish you all the luck . If you want to email it is csabbra at yahoo dot com.

Hi everyone I was hoping for some words of help. My husband and I have been TTC for a year but using nothing to stop it for 5 years to trying we thought that something should have happened by then and nothing still. So I went to the dr and they had us to all the test and everything is good so far but the progesterone was a little low but still in normal range. The dr gave me 50 mg clomid to do days 5-9 and I have a normal period so I was scared to take this to mess up my reg cycles and I just need to hear from someone who knows what it is like. Everyone around me is getting pregnant so easily and it is making it hard on me so if someone could lend a word of advice Thanks,

Hey ladies! I am also new to this forum and after reading all the postings, I feel like I am in the exact same boat as evewannababy. Hubby is fine and I just have a little low progesterone but very regular AF all my life. We've been trying for a while and since we both turned 30 this year we decided to try to help nature along. Took my first round of Clomid CD 5-9 had some hot flashes but not bad. I have had cramping and strange sensations in my ab ever since and my AF is now 4 days late. 2 BFN's later I just wish I would get AF already so I can start the next round. I have been reading all over to try to find out if the clomid is just making AF late or what. Any thoughts ladies?

evewannaababy - Welcome to the group. Your doctor might have prescribe you the clomid to help you out since you probably have unexplain fertility problems. It shouldn't mess up your cycle well it didn't for me I normally start AF like clockwork I might go a day earlier or a day late but mostly it is on the same date. Good Luck to you.
wendytd - What days did you take your clomid? I took my last clomid today so it cd 7 for me starting tomorrow I will be taking them stupid little estrogene pills I hate them.Keeping my fingers cross for you keep me update.
mandi13206 - I don't think the clomid will mess with your AF it shouldn't make you late but then again I could be wrong I never had that problem. I know it will either make you ovulate early or later in your cycle. From my experience I get my AF like clockwork maybe a day earlier or a day late but mostly 29-30 cycles for me and it was this way before taking the clomid. Good Luck to you and keep us posted. Hi Krissy, I took the clomid day 3-7 50mg. I don't normally ovulate on my own monthly, only like once or twice a year. Do you think I will ovulate after day 20?

I am so glad that you have responded to me I am so excited and scared at the same time about the clomid. I really was concerned at first with the side effects and now I am just ready to start it and see what happens. I don't want to get my hopes up, but I was wondering what is the usual success time on cycles of clomid. It looks like 1 to 3 cycles but like I have said before I just want to share with someone that knows. Thanks

Hi everyone, I am very new to this whole process and would really like some advice. I am about to be starting this process hopefully soon. I have a doct appt on monday and I will find out what I need to do next. I actually had to go a step further because I didn't recieve a period for months at a time. They needed up putting me on a medicine called provera which brings it on. At first I thought that it wasn't going to work. Well IT DID!!! Which is a good thing. I keep doing research on Clomid and it is bugging me out a little. My husband keeps telling me that I need to stop reading into everything but when your 24 and can't get pregnant it is a little hard not to do as much research as possible. I was wondering if anyone can give me a little advice on what to expect and how to go about doing things. I have a mother but she isn't that capable of giving me advice. Should I start my body temperture now before I go to the doctors again or just wait and see what she has to say. Please help I am really scared and just need a few words of encouragement.
Thanks
