Hi Jodi, did your doctor prescribe you to provera for 5 days twice a day? I've taken it a couple of times and I always took for 10 days. It did show up after 5 days. I need to take it again for my second cycle, the pain sounds like o pain. good luck to you and I hope you get a BFP.

yes i took 2 pills twice a day for 5 days. i took 2 at 8am and 2 at 8pm for 5 days. and then waited a further 7 days for af to turn up. i rang dr after 2 days.. said its not uncommon to have to wait upto a week. but usually only 2-3 days after taking last pill. so i guess i was unlucky... i am now cd 19. next step is bloodtest to see if i did indeed O...on cd 21.

wendytd..thanks i have used opk today and the line is still there.i am on my first round of clomid..days 3-7...and was using robitussin..

Hey ladies how was everyone's weekend. Mines was very busy and I am glad it is Monday (lol) I am on cd 21/8dpo and here is the only thing that is going on with me. I have a killer headache, I am hungry all the time it's like I can't get enough to eat, I am very bloated, I'm a little nausuated, and I am having very soft stools (sorry tmi). Not getting my hopes up. I can test in exactly 1 week to the day. I will keep you all updated and I will not test early unless I have some major major symptoms. Krissy68

Hey ladies here is my daily update. I am currently cd 22 9 dpo and temp are 98.52 so it went up some from yesterday. Also my 6th straight day of taking the progesterone gel and still so far so good. Not feeling too good today. I did break down and test last night and I already know it was too early but I was so sick that I just thought it would be positive. I still have 6 days before test date. I will keep you all posted. Sending baby dust to everyone. Krissy68

Ah Krissy, I am ok I guess, nothing yet to be excited about. Although my fiance and I have our RE appointment in October - but i'm not confident that it will work 1st time round... We will just have to see... will definately keep you posted. I am experiencing terrible heartburn, hot flashes etc but nothing... OPK'S came back as negative... :( Don't worry hun, your breakdowns are completely normal, and they will all be worth it in the end... when you r holding your little gift from god... keep us posted... One of my GF's got a negative for 3 months after feeling "pregnant" as you can put it... and then a test and scan confirmed she was around 4 months!!! Was very happy for her... but green with envy at the same time... :( She has PCOS, and was on her 2nd round of clomid... she also like myself, had'nt ovulated in 3 yrs.... it does work.... somehow... keep at it hun... mwahz

Hi Im new on this site, My Husband and I have dated for 6 yrs married for one, he's an Army soldier being deployed soon :-( Ive never been pregnant but sort of have always have been irregular. We've been trying to conceive for 2 yrs now and no luck. I saw my doctor today and due to my circ_mstances he decided to try clomid with me, I dont have much time but luckily have my p. and he wanted me to do the 5-9, can I still take it if my period leaves before the fith day?? Also, he prescribed 100mg bt the pharmacy I went to only had 50mg, can I take 2 pills at one shot?? and what time during the day is the best time to take it?? I am alil scared to take it, and I know this is a long bulletin. Im sorry..can someone please give me feedback :-)

ok had blood test today and will have results in a days time.. its for ovulation not pg.. to make sure the clomid did its job.. next week i will have pg test, if o test turns out good..
*****welcome diana***** yes, take even if period has finished by 5th day.. the general rule is to take it after your period as to know you are not pg first. i was told to take mine days 2-6.. some are advised 3-7.. its just the doctors preference. and yes... take 2 of 50mg to make up the 100. i took mine in the morning.. i had no side effects at all. i also did 100 even though doctor said 50.. i just couldnt wait.. wanted the extra boost.

Hello Diana - welcome to our friendsly page!!! Like you I have not started Clomid as yet... I will be seeing my RE specialist on Oct 10th. I am very excited... I have heard many good and bad things about clomid, most of it good though, the weigh in at 70 - 30... lol so I have faith that it will help my fiance and I. I can't really give you any advice on Clomid hun sorry!... but the ladies on here are great, and very helpful. They have put my mind at ease and I am more confident about starting Clomid... Kepp us updated on whats going on.... Mwah JODI - good luck with your ovulation results!!! Hopefully next week u will be testing for a BFP!!! Mwahzzz

Hi Ladies** :-) Thank you both so much for the feedback. I was just alil confused..and needed to help somewhere..I didnt want to call my busy Dr's office and the pharmacist didnt know too much. I definitely alil more at ease now that I have been reading your blogs..im definitely scred and excited at the same time and will definitely give it a try. I start my dosage this coming Friday and will probably be the only cycle I get to try for now :-/ But I will definitely keep you ladies posted and look forward to hearing from u aswell.
