Sailblue - you're not ovulating yet. Clomid is known to show a false positive on OPK's if you test too early. I think it's usually 5-8 days (sometimes later) after your last pill that you'll ovulate. If you were getting a positive, it was likely a false positive. No worries, begin testing again in a few days.

I read that wild yams and vitex are forms of natural clomid. Has anyone ever heard about that?

Heya Aline Hun - Thank you for your kind words.... I will keep you in my prayers as well. I think what kills me the most is the waiting. I made my 1st appointment with my RE over 4 weeks ago and now Oct 1st seems so far away, and I am so impatient about starting clomis... I just wish that things would swing my way enough for me to catch them... Thats the best way to describe it I guess... But love to you hun... and great decision you and your hubby have reached.. Hey everyone! I am new to this site and i am so amazed on all the sucess stories! as soon as i was about to loose hope i read about all of you and gained hope back. Ive been ttc for 27 months now and no luck i am on my 5th round of clomid she had me at 50mg days 5-9 for the 1st 4 and now im on the 5th month and she increased it to 200mg days 3-7 and added metformin 10o0mg a day i start me clomid tomorrow does anyone have any input for me anything i can do that works better or i could do differently?? i hope this works! let me know what you all think! baby dust to all of you!

Yes, this was my first round of Clomid! I was on Clomid for days 3-7 and I was also on Provera before Clomid. hello , Hello , hello i was reading the thread and thought I would like To join . I have been trying to TTC for about 15 months or so . I actually went as far as to purchasing Unprescribed clomid 50mg , But started to read about it and how potentially dangerous it could be so I went to the doctor , and found out that I was not ovulating , and then have been refereed to a specialist . I have not been yet , I go on next tuesday and CANT WAIT !!! i really want a Baby , multiples would be nice . But whatever GOD chooses to bless me with I will be happy . I also want to say thanks to all of you that share your stories , I love reading up on you all , and hopefully ill be able to post that I have a +++++ as well one day soon .baby dust to you all !!!!!

LucianLad~ Hey good luck on tuesday i was so happy to go the 1st time i went too! i have been ttc for a lil over 2 years but just 5 months on clomid this is my 6th round and they finally increased my dosage so hope fully it works this month just dont give up hope and you will be alright we are all here! i haven t ovulated at all for 5 months my dr is hoping i will ovulate this month with the increased dosage! good luck keep me posted after tuesday!

Hey girls, Samantha are you starting your cycle oct 1 or going to doctor? I'm waiting for af now, just finish with the provera. I'm going to be taking the clomid 3-7 again. Lucianlad welcome and good luck on tuesday. Kate why didn't your doctor increase your dose if you weren't ovulating? On my first cycle at 50mg I didn't ovulate and now I'm going to start my second cycle at 100mg. I'm hoping this works. jodi what cd you on? Sending baby dust to all...

Hello Katepcosttc - Welcome! I like you have also been ttc for just over two years! And it had been horrible! In some ways it has brought my fiance and I closer, but it is stilla heartache... Hoping that 2009 will bring us good luck. I have not yet started clomid, hoping to start povera to induce a period then clomid by the end of Oct, I have my 1st RE specialist appointment on Oct 11th so next Friday YEY I am very excited. As for Metformi and Clomid - I am not sure, I have heard that Met helps to difuse the chances of misscarrying. I am sure one of the ladies on here that will be able to help you. Hope your appointment next Tuesday goes well, is this to see if they will put you on povera then clomid? I also do not ovulate and have been ttc to no avail for over two yrs. I have my RE appointment next Friday so 3days after you! Never know mayb we will start povera and clomid together and both of us maybe able to tell a success story together. Hi Wendy - No this will be my 1st! I would be so happy with twins anything really that God sends. My Fiance and I have been engaged for two years as well. We had saved the money to have a huge wedding, but we prioritised and realised that we would rather spend that money on treatment to have a child - That is if we need further a__sistance and Clomid doesn't work (fingers crossed it will for both of us!) Hey Ladies! Wendy- My docotr kept telling me lets give it another try on 50mg and i kept saying its not working and finally this months she did increase it so hopefully it starts to work. And with the metformin it should work even better she said. so we will see!!!! im on cd3 now!!! ill keep ya posted good luck with you!!! Samantha~ I have had to take provera each cycle since i havent ovulated i didnt get a period myself again and they just increased my clomid this month and added metformin so hopefully it works. You just have to be patient i know its hard but i almost gave up and then she changed some things around so i have gained all my hope back so we will see!!!! keep me updated on you!

hi ya ladies.. well Dr rang back. said it was neg, but never told me the number. i figure it was less than one as usual. today is cd 29. i have apt with my ob/gyn today. to get new script for clomid. i figure i am waiting for AF. but my temps are still up. i dont know if thats coz of the clomid, as i did ovulate this month, and perhaps the lower temps all previous months were due to the fact i didnt ovulate.. hopefully i will have some answers in a few hours. welcome all new ladies....

Don't be sad though there is always next time, I will be here if you need to chat. I have no idea what it means for your temps to stay up, as I never ovulate, I get hot flushes but thats about it. So can't give you any advice on that unfortunately. Hopefully your OB/GYN will be able to try an alternative or maybe increase your dose. Fingers crossed good luck will keep u in my prayers. well i got another script for clomid.. he said no need to increase the dose as 100 is doing its job greatly... he said 32 is an excellent result... he also said that the clomid should regulate my cycles. and today being cd 29 i should have af either today or tomorrow or the next day at the latest.. he said temps are a waste of time.. and doesnt think much of opk's either.. basically said just have to time it right.. he said to start testing or to expect af anyday...
