Hello! My husband and I have been ttc for 1 1/2 years now. My doc decided to put in on clomid days 5-9. In the beginning I was feeling really bad cramps in my lower abs and as the days went by, I noticed a brownish discharge and then a few days later, I noticed a egg-like discharge. I am charting my temps but it's not consistant since I'm always waking up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and I also have a 3 year old who wakes me up as well. Has anyone had a low body temp and found out that they are in fact pregnant?? Please let me know since I'm afraid to take a pregnant test.

Hi Stasia4, to honest I never notice a change in my temp, taking your temp doesn't work for about 20% of women

Hi Simon91. Thanks for your response. So were you on clomid and gotten pregnant?? And if so, how long did it take you? Yeah, I don't think this temp charting is working for me. It's always below 98 degrees. It's really frustrating. I see my doc next month so hope that she gives me good news.

Nevermind Simon91 on my last post. I read your prior postings. Congrats!!! That's very exciting news! Did you use the temp charting method to see if you O? Or the OPK? What were your symptoms before you found out you were preggers??

Hi Stasia4, I conceived on the 3rd cycle of clomid, I used opks I found that temp charting didn't work for me. As for the symptoms there was nothing really unusual because i had side effects with clomid, clomid usually made me start spotting a few days before my period was due but the last time there was no spotting so I had an inkling that I was pregnant

hi simon91. have you always had a normal period?? after i had my first child, my period became very irregular. sometimes i would go on for months w/o having my period. i don't know what happened when i've been regular all my life. taking the clomid, i had no side effects at all. doc put me on 50 mg. after taking it though, a few days later, i noticed i had a minor bladder infection which quickly went away. i had a nose bleed the other day. and these are all signs of pregnancy but i don't want to get my hopes up though.

Stasia4, I have always had a regular period (which is weird) , because the number 1 symptom of PCOS is irregular periods. The nose bleed sounds quite positive I've read that that's a common pregnancy symptom.......... Good luck :-)

Hello ladies, I wanted to share my clomid success story. My DH and I had been ttc for over a year and got pregnant twice but miscarried at 6 weeks both times. I was prescribed 50 mg clomid on CD 3-7. I had a shooting pain around my ovaries at the time of ovulation and also around the time I tested. My cycle was usually 28 days so my dr. had asked me to come in on CD 12 to get a HCG shot and to count follies but I had already ovulated the day before so he sent us home to do the deed :) We are now 28w6d pregnant with a boy and couldn't be happier. I am so thankful for clomid and if I ever have problems conceiving in the future I will go back to clomid :)

hi BiancaM! congrats on the pregnancy! will this be your 1st? well i have a daughter who turned 4 not too long ago and my husband and i are ttc #2. however, it's so much harder this time around than w/ our first which we conceived w/in less than a year when we first started trying. my doc put me on clomid days 5-9 but i'm not sure i O. however, i did feel the sharp pains though so maybe that could be it. the temp charting didn't work for me i think. anyways, i go back to my doc this friday since i haven't gotten my period. it's very frustrating. my periods are very irregular too but i don't have pcos. just hoping that the next cycle will work this time! good luck to your pregnancy!

Hi Vij...are you still ttc w/ clomid?? for how long now? i go see my doc this friday for the 2nd round of clomid. i don't think i O on the first one. i'm nervous!
