I am with you Kim, what a moron. What is artificial about those babies concieved w/a__sistance. THEY ARE BABIES!!!!
Oh, and Anne - lesson is bio - the sperm and the egg are not "artificial" those are produced by people who are quite "natural" - so what is artificial about that???

don't blame anne for being honest. you ladies are just p__sed cause you had to use medication to get pregnant.

"girl" no one is p__sed about meds or no meds to get pregnant. Just trying to separate facts from fiction. Try keeping up, ok?

So Anne thinks all babies are Miracles, but the extra miralce, that slim chance in nature, that causes a twin pregnancy, is slightly lessoned because Nature had a huge helping hand..either through IFV, IUI, medications, etc. Well, that is fact, and true, I guess. The child is still a miracle, the gestation and pregnancy is a miracle... but the nudge from nature wasn't there, it was caused by modern medicine... OK, I get it. And GIRL... go away. Find the teen board.

Wow, you ladies are hostile. Like I said, all babies are amazing and miraculous. It's just not "miraculous" when you conceived twins with fertility help. Big deal. You're the ones getting all bent out of shape over. Go have your baby and be greatful you have one, lot's of women can't (even with fertility help).

Turning into a very silly argument. I think any rational woman would agree that conception, however it happens, is miraculous, and not to be slighted by rude, insensitve women. As "A mother of twins" said in her second post, perhaps mothers who did not need any help conceiving don't even realize how they hurt others with their glib comments about their "all-natural" babies. Have some compa__sion, sheesh.

Anne - did you know that there is no feritility medicine specifically designed to concieve twins? WOmen who have to take fertility medicine (and I wont include those who are using illegal/unprescribed) do so in the hopes of conceiving. Let me ask you this - if a woman happened to concieve and her egg split therefore producing identical twins - is that not a miracle? Mind you - I am sure you are not aware that Identical twins ARE an act of nature regardless of fertility meds or not.

Gee thanks triplet-mom. Got anymore brainbusters for me? Yes, I know the difference between identical and fraternal twins. I know you'd like to believe I'm ignorant, but I'm actually quite educated. Sorry ladies.

So Anne, if a woman is on clomid and she concieves and had identical twins - is that not a miracle? Or is one baby a miracle and the other not?
I don't agree with Anne, but I think she knows that twinning due to clomid isn't identical. If that were to happen, I think she'd think it had "miracle" written all over it, because it wasn't due to the clomid.

Well, what if someone was on clomid and had triplets where 2 were identical? I guess only one of the twins would be natural.
"mother of twins" - I guess according to Anne's theory only 1 would be.

I don't think Anne is saying that ANY baby is unnatural.... but think about it... if you use IVF, have 2 healthy embryos, and both survive... the twins aren't really a surprise, are they? They weren't "natural" in that they didn't happen simply because nature wanted it to happen. This in no way lessens the actual children... or anything about the pregnancy. You mothers of multiples should KNOW this.. when you fall pregnant again, and go into your doctors office.. they ask you many questions about previous pregnancies... and when you answer "yes" to having had multiples, that is followed by "WERE THEY CONCEIVED NATURALLY?" as in, do we need to worry about that with this pregnancy? It has NOTHING to do with the worth of the child, the worth of the pregnancy.. it is just FACT. Maybe you should stop being so ashamed that you had help conceiving. I know I'm not. The word natural is a real word with a real definition.... and if you needed Clomid, IVF, etc in order to get pregnant, and you get pregnant... well Nature sure had a helping hand, now didn't it..... and what the hell is wrong with that??? You really make needing this medical help seem like an ugly thing, with all this talk that "natural" is not "normal". MY children WERE NOT conceived Naturally..... I needed IVF. We had 6 embryos, and on the 2nd try with 2 embryos, we had success. I was the one to put 2 embryos in there, and I was lucky enough to have both of them thrive and become my children...... and I am not ashamed of that.
