Depsite that I have been ripped to shreds on this forum I need to post this qustion for help. I have 2 heart beats..One beats at 156 and the other at 137. The heartrate of 137 can be clearly seen on the Ultrasound. And the whole baby is seen. One baby is seen. With a due date of Sept 15th. I had a Ultrasound this morning. I have one scheduled on APRIL 20th and one scheduled on May 9th. I'm not going to say a whole lot since my last horrible experience here. But if anyone has any advice or insight please let me know. Thanks. The only comment I got on Friday after seeing a doctor. She just looked at me weird and said, "I don't think your uterus is shaped normal." I just said thank you, took my pictures, and said I'll see you on May 9th. The other U/S is schedule in another building (the one on the 20th)

Kim, I do know that echoes and pulses can be picked up throughout the uterus , placenta and umbilical cord and also your arteries that run up an down your belly. They thought my own h/b was the baby's because I was nervous and my h/b was about 125 bpm which was picked up easily by the doppler. My OB never did listen to the h/b with my twins because she said she wanted to make sure she was getting them both and not something else, so she did an u/s on both of them at each appointment and they were never hard to find. I don't know what the comment would mean about the uterus being shaped funny. Did she get that from the u/s or from feeling it from the outside? I know that fibroids can distort the uterus.

I don't know..I'm all messed up and out of sorts myself. I feel terrible because nobody has answers for me. They will look at some organs and focus on my kidneys on Friday. She said the comment about my uterus after asking me to come back. Because she just said some things were in question. I'm miserable! Huge and scared!

I am sorry you are feeling like this Kim! I think you should try to calm down and make lists of questions for your doctors when you think of them. And, if it makes you feel better, it is not that uncommon to have an unusual shaped uterus. But, I would definitely ask more questions and if you can't get answers, try to find another doctor. They are not perfect, I know. Frankly, I don't have much trust for doctors, but I do know that there are good ones out there and that they do go to a lot of school and training to become one. Also, you have to learn to weed through their c___p! Be happy that your baby is healthy and can be fully seen on an ultrasound! Try to grab the good stuff from doctors and when something is not good rationalize it. Think it out. Ask lots and lots of questions! Usually, the more you ask, they realize that you are really an intelligent person that is concerned and wants answers.

To be honest with you..I don't want anything from either one of you. After how you have previously treated me. Anyone else who may have some advice your post are well appreciated and respected here. Thanks ladies.

I'm sorry Kim, but you can't expect to come a public forum, ask for advice have not have someone respond. You may not like the response, but you get honesty. We hope you're also being honest with us. I personally wish you luck & good health however, your story does have a lot of holes in it, so many medical impossibilities that can only happen to you. You also seem to have so many proffessionals in your life, & you have had 5 other children yet you're unsure of soooo much when it comes to child birth & pregnancy. I read on the other thread that you now claim to have had difficulty with one of your 5 "perfect" pregnancies. Do you see what I mean about inconsistancies?

Tenk - April 16

Kim, again please ignore them. I don't have an answer for you about the 2 heart beats, other than maybe one of them is not inside your uterus. This is 100% possible, altho not very common. I hope you figure it all out, and if there are 2 in there, then more power to you....your going to need a ton of support already having 5 children and now 2 more. Good Luck either way!!!

KimMcCloud - April 16

Corona, I didn't have difficulties with the pregnancies themselves. They were great! The medical things were off or disturbing. I did not come here for attention and have not called any names here. So a freak huh? I had every right not to accept with open arms..people who have previously been rude or accusing. Every single one of my words is stretched and deeply read into. Yes for the most part..every pregnancy was great. I don't seem to be ignorant about pregnancy. I do know about childbirth and pregnancy as an experience. Because I have experienced it 5 times. What I am saying is..I had prenatal care..None of them came when the doctors said they were coming. They were good pregnancies, and some of the things told to me were wrong. Like I was told that 2 of my children were boys. But they were girls..things like that..Are you following me and understanding??

Corona - April 16

First of all, are you accusing me of calling you a freak?? Because if you are, read again & get your facts straight. 2nd of all, you claim to have had your other children many years ago. If so...u/s was not as clear then & they would have told you that s_xing was not accurate. & lastly it is a miracle if any child acctually arrives on the "due date". Everyone is aware of that. it is a quess!

KimMcCloud - April 16

no, I was stating I was called a freak. I have no harm or disrespect to you..the only harm and disrespect is towards me from others

Kim your probably don't want my input, but I will igve it anyway. Two hb is super common in a singleton pg. A doppler picks up sound and the imbilical cord, placenta, and your veins that feed your uterus with blood all will cause a 2nd hb to be picked up. Also amniotic fluid causes echos so you can pick up more than one hb at DIFFERENT rates from one baby. It is also common for the hb to change drastically from sono to sono as the baby's activities change. My mw also didn't use the doppler on my twins because she didn't know for sure if she was getting both babies or just one twice. I am sorry that you are out of sorts.

Thank You

I haven't read anything except the first post so this may have already been brought up as a possibility... But the placenta and umbilical have a heart beat too.. well its your heart beat but it can be mistaken as your babies.. I know I heard 2 heart beats once when I was carrying one of my boys and after doing some re checking my doc told me it was just my placenta.

Kim, I was only trying to respond to your post and I did it kindly. I think you look like an ignorant fool saying you don't want me to respond to you after posting you wanted advice from ANYONE. I will no longer read your posts and unlike you your promises of staying off the boards, my promise to ignore you will be kept.

Corona - April 16

I wish I could ignore it but I don't drive (my eyes suck!) & I don't get to leave the house much! This is exciting to me!! LOL!! However Kim, I do honestly hope all is well with you & the baby. I just don't like it when someone asks for advice & then doesn't like the answer if it's not what they wanted to hear. Good luck.
