Hi Kerrah, Any news? I've been TTC for the last year. We got pg after 4 months, however it ended in a miscarriage. My doctor just prescribed 50 mg clomid this cycle days 5 through 9 as well - a little anxious and trying to see what kind of results people got.

Sara1234- when are you starting your round of clomid? My af is due on da 23rd would love to have a clomid buddy. Keep me updated with your progress and your results.

Hi God_grant_me_dis_gift! I just started my first pill on Sept 15th. I've been reading a lot of other forums and the results are mixed. Some successful, others not so much. Trying not to get too excited about it, obviously hoping for success but tying to stay realistic. I never thought for a second it would take this long to get pregnant! None of my friends have had issues so these forums are great to speak with others going through the same thing. It's a emotional rollercoaster! So far only side effects are little hot flashes and I'm a little spacy - but maybe because I'm responding to it well? It's minor and very managable.

Thanks sara1234 for replying... Gosh i didn't expect there to be s/e so early in the treatment. I guess I better get my ice water ready. Lol. But I was suppose to start my first round last month but I wimped out. Luckily considering my bf had to leave for an unexpected business trip and he was gone during my O period. And i agree my research shows that clomid isnt a miracle pill but hopefully its that push i need to sustain another pregnancy. Baby # 1 two years ago was natural. But since giving birth my cyles have been all out of whack and ive been suffering from a luteal phase defect( lp lasting 7-10 days on a 22-25 day cycles). What cd days are you taking your clomid and what's your regimen?

Why did you wimp out last month? Concerns about the drug? But as you said very lucky considering your bf was away - would have been a waste of a cycle! How long did it take you to conceive baby #1? I am just trying for my first. Not idea if anything is wrong, my doctor referred me to a fertility clinic but I haven't gone in for testing yet. Wanted to try clomid first. I have a prescription for two cycles, days 5 - 9 at 50mg. What about you?

It took a year of unprotected s_x to conceive number one but we weren't really trying jus having more fun than baby making. But now that we actually want to conceive nothings happening. And yes I wimped out last month because I jus kept thinking about all the horrible things that could happen like over stimulation, cyst, etc. But this upcoming cycle I'm going for it. I always say sometimes it's best to suck up your fears and go in head first.

Oh forgot to add I haven't decided whether to take 50 mg cd 3-7 or 4-8. I take a daily 81 mg aspirin with my prenatal. I will be using preeseed to bd. And I will test with opk from cd 10- bfp or af. Can't really do it every other day because bf and I have busy schedules right now. Which is fine because I always get very distinctive ov pain

I'm not too sure why there isn't a standard set of days to take the pills, I guess it depends on your cycle? Mine is between 30 - 35 days. I'll also be using preeseed to bd - aiming for every other day until O time, then its on each day. I'll also be testing with opk starting on Thursday - just finished my pills on Monday. I lucked out, the kit was on sale for $20 so I bought two. This way I can test each day until AF. I've read that ovulation can be painful on clomid - not too sure what to expect. I'll let you know!

Hi There! Well, here is the latest. I ovulated last Monday - we bd the Saturday and Sunday prior. Also bd on Monday and Tuesday. Seemed like a good plan and we were hopeful we may have lucked out. However the following Thursday we got my husbands sperm a___lysis back, turns out 99% of his sperm is abnormally shaped. Chances of us conceiving are very low at the moment (around 2%). Not too sure what the next step is. We have an appt with a fertility clinic on Wednesday :( I never thought I would be in this place, but you never know what life has in store. I'm pretty devestated but I have to get over it and move forward with a fertility workup. Keep me posted on your progress!

I started my first cycle of Clomid 100mg October 17th and as well im taking prenatal vitamins and folic acid. I did days 3-7. I am on CD 12. I took a OPK im ovulating!!! im hoping this is my miracle!!!! My fingers are crossed!!! ~~baby dust to all~~

Well here is my updated......Im currently on CD28/ 11 DPO. I have tested the past 3 days with FMU and all i have got is BFN sofar. AF is Due sunday.....im really hoping she dont visit for 9 mths!!! figures crossed!! And this is my first round of Clomid 100mg

Hello all! Due to my health problems I am scared that I won't be able to cope with pregnancy in a couple years so it needs to be now! My husband has agreed to give it 1 try! I am due AF on second on December, the wait is killing me! Also means not taking my pain preventers, which I have decided to slowly come of now! I also need to start a triple dose of folic acid, due to complications with previous pregnancy's! Docter has told me to take the clomid on days 1-5! Altho after reading quite a few different pages, it seems there is more chance of getting multiples if its started that early! So I'm a little worried
