Hi Olliesmum, Wow! I am so happy for you! It does get frustrating trying and trying I'm hoping this time it'll work for my husband and I. The first 3 times we tried it was 50mg and the 4th time he did 100mg. I do feel different this time around andmy husband swears he has a feeling Im pregnant. I am due for my menstrual may 1st so I took a pregnancy test today 4/26 and it was neg. I know there are more likely to have false negs. Do u think I'm reading to much into this?...thanks for listening;)

Hi all I need some advise please, Last month was my 1st cycle of clomid 50mg, I was suppose to get my period by the 15 April and still didn't get it I took a pregnancy test and it was neg, I still didn't get my period and I'm suppose to start my next cycle on clomid already? What do I do should I take another test or just wait? I have been feeling tired lately but I don't know what else to look for? Please help ladies?

Cravingababy- my gyn had told me if I didn't start my period to make an appt. Have you tried to get an appt? Bc most likely u are pregnant. Ur most likely to have a false neg. Then and false pos. I would definitely go to your doctor and get a ultrasound or bloodwork done. Hope everything works out and if you are congrats!

Thanks for your comment, I still didn't get my period and I don't really have any symptoms I think I'm gonna take another test and if still neg go to my gynae? Maybe the clomid is not working or maybe he must up the dosage I'll have to discuss it with him.. I really hope that I am pregnant fingers crossed!!

Cravingababy- I would definitely take another and if it's neg. Then I would see ur gyn..I was taking the 100mg and u started my period on Saturday;( but I feel weird I'm always drained I get light headed. I feel nausea. I am going to see my gyn to see if maybe it worked an I just had my period jut bc or maybe u know it didn't work but I'll find out today. Also has ur doctor gotten ur husbands sperm count checked? And have they sent u to have an X-ray of ur f. Tubes to see if there open? My doctor is running all these test to make sure b4 sending me to get inseminated. It's alot to process. Lol. So if u dont mind me asking what is pcos?

Krissy - So I took another test yesterday morning and it was neg..So if I don't get my period this month I'm def going to see him. When I go see him we making an appointment for my hubby to get checked, My gynae and I have discussed checking my tubes and all the other process, but we 1st started on clomid and hope it works. I think the 1st step is to have my hubby checked. PCOS - basically I don't ovulate on a regular basis, I get my period every second or 3rd month so tracing ovulation is difficult and that makes it harder to fall pregnant.There is a whole medical explanation for it but it basically comes down to that.Alot of things can be the cause for it unhealthy lifestyle etc. I def need to loose some weight aswell but it's so difficult, lol I know excuses excuses!!!

WOW! that's crazy it says neg still. I'm wondering if I have pcos I mean I have my period every month but I can't get an oculation predictor kit to tell me if I am. My doctor saved the dray for last so I go Tuesday!! Fingers crossed there OPEN LOL. and if not then well do insemination. ;(

Yep still neg!!! I dunno what to do anymore, my fingers are crossed for you all of the best. IVF is very expensive procedure. For how long have you been on clomid and for how long have you been ttc? if you don't mind me asking. I doubt you have pcos because your gynae would've picked it up when he did a scan on you because there would be small folicles on your ovaries.

Yes we know it's very expensive but my husband says he dont care he will pay for it bc he wants a baby u know!! Lol he silly. I was on clomid in 2010' for 3 months. And in 2011 this is my second month. So I have been a total of 5 months. well we have been together since I was 13..we started having s_x when I was 16. And we really have never used protection. I mean when I was younger we used it once in a while but for the last couple years we havent used anything birth control. It's very frustrating I've known so many Young teens that get pregnant and abort it and I'm over here spending lots of money for test and meds. How long have you been ttc?

Well my husband and I have been together for 11 years and married for 3. So bascially we spent most of that 11 years trying not to fall pregnant and now that we married spending it trying to concieve. We've been basically trying for 2 years now I recently changed my gynae's the previous one didn't even give me anything so the 1st year ttc was a waste. This year I decided to change my gynae and this one put me on clomid. March was my 1st month on it and I didn't get my period April so basically it's not going to well for me at the moment. I know what you mean when you say teens getting pregnant left right and center, tell me about it you see them in the malls walking with this baby bumps and they don't even look happy, I promise you I will glow when I'm pregnant one day. You get teenage girls dumping their babies in rubbish bins my heart just aches when I hear about stories like that. The worse of all is when aunties and family members or even friends ask you when you gonna have a baby and you must do this and that seriously they don't understand what you going through so I just smile and say no we not ready yet, but deep inside I think If they only knew how badly I want a baby. That's why it's been great chatting to you, someone that undestands what I'm going through.

hi, im 22 and have PCOS and want a baby and realise i need help from my doctor to make this possible. because im only 22 i know its silly but feel that they might think im too young is there anyone else that has been to the doctor for help at a young age and been successful?

I don't really think that your age would be a problem, I'm sure that there are plenty of ladies that was younger than you and felt the same way. Are you scheduled to see your gynae anytime soon? Ask him to start you on clomid for a couple of months and I hope it happens for you soon...

My husbands family doesn't know anything about what were going through bc they'll just say oh ur not ready u don't need a child it's to much work. When people ask his mother aww are you ready for more grandbabies? She says no ones enough. Im like wow! I'm just tired of putting things on hold I wanna live my life.I take my test tomorrow and see him friday for results. He was out of town last week so I had to see another doctor and she prescribed me some for may and june..so well see. When do u get to see hr doctor again? To make sure if ur pregnant or not?

Georgie- I am 21. I have been to the doctors to get help as well. Nothing has happened yet but my doctor is working really hard to find me answers with test and meds. Everything, don't give up and ur not to young.

Hi Guys, im 26 and have been trying for about 1 1/2 years now i have PCOS, i currently ended my Primulot N perscription and waiting to get my period to start the clomid 50mg for the 1st time, this is very stressful for both my husband and i. im hoping to get pregnant first time so have to wait and c, good luck to all you guys.
