Hello ladies.
I just got finished taking Provera yesterday. Then this morning I got a little spotting. Only thing is not in my Panties (sorry TMI) only when I wipe. So my question is, I am going to start on Clomid, so do I have to count this as CD1 or do I wait until the flow is heavier and in my panties?? Thanks sorry this is TMI, but I am new to this.

Hi Tina according to my doctor you only start counting cycle days from the first day of full flow. He said spotting does not count. But to be sure I would check with your doctor to see what his opinion is. Best of luck to you.

Hey Laura,
I called the OB/GYN's office just to be on the safe side anyway. My Drs nurse said not to count until I need a tampon or anything. I hope that having this spotting is a good sign though. Thanks.

Hey girls! I'm on Cycle Day 29. Took a test yeterday but it was negative. Maybe it was too early, i guess we'll see. Still no period yet. I don't feel like im going to get my period like i usually do, but don't feel pregnant either. Sometimes i think i feel naucious but then i think it's just my head because i think about it so much. Isn't the clomid supposed to regulate the cycle to 28 days? Am i wrong about this? My doctor didn't give me very much information on this.

Victoria, I can relate! I want a baby so badly I can't see straight. All I know to tell you is to try and relax. Since from experience I know saying to relax is much easier than actually relaxing, here are a couple of ideas to help: exercise (even a short walk can make all the difference), read a good un-baby related book, or take a few days off from baby websites (my pyschiatrist's idea...I was addicted...spending HOURS and regulating my time has helped). Hope some of this is of benefit to you. Keep me posted.

KT - My cycles are non-existent exept with "medical intervention". When on clomid, my cycles were 34-35 days long. Clomid can make you ovulate later than you may expec (mine was always like days 19 or 20). Concieved my first on clomid, now almost 35 weeks with boy/girl twins.

Melissa Hi! I know that twins are very common with Clomid. However, I understand that the chances increase with the length of time you take it. Do you think this is true? How long were you on them before you conceived.

I concieved two singleton pregnancies on clomid. The first at 100 mg. and the second at 150 mg. The second ended in a miscarriage. We tried the next cycle after the miscarriage at 150 mg. and concieved our boy/girl twins. For the first conception, it took 6 cycles of clomid, the second conception 5 months and then concieved again the following month. We BD'd every day pretty much the 8 days surrounding ovulation and I took the clomid days 5-9. The second and third conceptions seem to happen when I took robitussin starting 4 or so days before I expected to ovulate. Just made the 35 week mark today and can finally breathe a sigh of relief that we've made it this far with no complications. Good luck to all of you TTC. I know it can be a lot of heartbreak and emotional ups and downs.

To Beth, Thanks your words made me feel better, I went to the doctor again and they took another blood test and still found my levels to be low. They did another sonogram and still havent seen any changes. The doctor says this is common. being that it's my first time on clomid right after getting off of birth control. I still have a lot of hope, and I'll never lose faith. Thank you so much for responding.
