tina, are you going to be taking estradiol and prochieve this cycle also?My dr prescribed this for me for the drying of clomid (estradiol) and then after ovulation (prochieve) for the thinning of the uterine lining also caused by clomid. it has a 100% of keeping your body right for possible pregnancy...,

No, I was only prescribes Provera to kick start my menses and then the Clomid to help me ovulate. He spoke of nothing else. I have been having a pain not quite on my side, but right about my leg at the lower part I am having the pain, does anyone know if this could be maybe something to do with the Clomid or anything??

Tomorrow I go to the dr to start my second round of clomid. This last round I go my period 23 days after the start of the pills, which actually was 31 days since my last period. I'm starting to get a little nervous because I do get my period regularly every month, but the dr said I have low progestine which means I do not ovulate.. Can that be possible? Also, do you think it is normal to get a period only 23 days after the start of Clomid? Also, I usually get a heavy period, but this month was extreme..

well today was my 2nd day taking clomid. So far, no side effects....just a little cramping everynow and then but that could aslo be my af since im taking clomid days 3-7. Good luck everyone!!!

I am on day 25 of my cycle, I took Clomid day 3-7. My Progesterone was 38.4 on day 21 lab draw, up from 5.8 last month. This is my first cycle of Clomid. Dr. was on vacation today when I rec'd my lab results so he couldn't explain what the numbers mean. Anyone have an idea? Thanks ladies, I have really enjoyed reading all of your thoughts.

KT and all the other ladies in this forum, I got my BFP!!!! I'm still in shock. I had a miscarriage 3/05 and have been trying since. I started Clomid 50 mg (days 3-7) on 8/18. I was supposed to test on 9/11 and 9/12 (27th and 28th days) but couldn't wait. I tested on Friday (day 25) and got a faint line. I went to my Doctor and she did a urine test and it was a BFP too. She was so excited because it is my first round of Clomid! She started me on Prenatal vitamins and gave me a due date of 5/22/06. I love Clomid!!!!

Congratulations RC!! I am on day 26 and have been tempted to test but have wondered if it's too early to show a positive if I were fortunate enough to conceive already. The waiting game is really tough, I just want to know one way or the other so I can prepare myself mentally for what happens next. We have been trying to get pregnant since February and I know that isn't as long as alot of people have been trying but I'm 33 and afraid the older I get the less chance I will have to get pregnant. The doctor said he will prescribe the Clomid for 3 months.

wendy - we must be cycle buddies. this is my day 26 and am going to test tomorrow. i have a uterus biopsy scheduled for monday if it is negative. i don't really "feel it" so not optimistic. i was on clomid for three months then had hsg test and post coital test - so far everything has come back ok. good luck.

Hi all! DH and I have been ttc#2 for over a year. It took me 1.5 years to get preg with my son (3.5) without any drugs. I am on day 2 of Clomid 50mg days 5-9. Am trying not to get too excited. Reading all you posts really helps. Good luck to all of you :)

Woke up today feeling weird, side effects of clomid i presume. To add to my frustration a girlfriend just told me that she is pregnant with her 4th boy. It seems so unfair. We both started trying at the same time and in the year and a half she had baby #3 and is now expecting #4. And here is an extra kick below the belt--she only has one ovary. Ah. I'm trying to stay positive but its getting hard. It seems like every woman in New York City is pregnant or has a baby. I guess things can be worse, at least i have Joshua. :)

Congrats RC... I also got a BFP on my first round of clomid. I'm currently 6 weeks preg and due May 10/06. I love clomid. I took 50 mg days 5-9 no s_x days 9-11 on days 12-16 bd's and increased my dairy intake. We had s_x after that so I could have gotten pregnant after the 16th. Wendy-I know what you mean about the waiting game. It's so frustrating and tempting to want to test everyday! It's also costly to be testing so frequently. Keep us posted and remember that KT tested post_tive until day 34 so hang in there. Much baby dust to you. Riley- Congratulations sweety! May God bless you and your baby.

RC-CONGRATS!!!!!! I have been on vacation this week and just got to read all the posts since i left. I am so happy for you!!! I'll pray for happy, healthy babies for both of us. To the rest of the girls, don't get discourage if you test day 28 and its negative. Thats what i did and then day 34 it was positive. My due date is 05/05/06. Good luck to all!

Thank you for your encouraging words RC! Leslie, I tested day 26 and it was negative. I shouldn't have done it so early but I couldn't wait. Last night I had very light cramps and a tiny bit of spotting but haven't had bleeding today yet. I'm not sure what to think of that! Usually I have bad cramps with periods but with the Clomid it may be different, I'm not sure. Good luck with your test, hopefully you won't need that uterus biopsy! It is such a relief having people to discuss this with, my mom and husband are the only ones who know I'm taking the Clomid and it gets a little lonely.

Can someone tell me if anyone experience severe back pain while taking clomid?

I took a test this morning and it was negative and they gave me one at the dr.'s office before the test and it was negative. i had uterian biopsy and progesterone bloodwork done today and should know in about a week. We'll see. Good luck to all.
