I should say that when the OPKs have shown that I've O'd, it seems to be around cd18 or 19. My cycles are irregular.

I am 28 and we have been trying for a baby for 5yrs I have psoc we were told that the only option was ivf, I then sort a second opinion and started clomid last month however it over stimulated me. This month I have to half the tablets. I found this site by chance and it has given me hope. Trying to keep positive is hard.

Hello all. I am back again. This time I decided to not go with the clomid last month. I kept track of my O and watched everything (except for temp readings). Now here I am on day 40, no period, no bleeding at all. I am bloated, semi sore b___sts, and plenty of on and off again pains in my abdomen. I took a p/g test 2 days ago and it came up negative. I have been told by friends that it could be still too early to tell. Any advice? Thanks!

hey all hope everyone is having a better chance of concieving then i am having...i haven't took a bloodtest yet...cause i am to scared...i guess i will wait til after the weekend of the 8th oct when i am supposed to start my period...i hope that it dont come and Michelle is right about that PT i took...well i have to go lots of baby dust to everyone

Ok, I am on cd17 with my first round of Clomid. My OPKs show that I have not O'd yet. But on cd15 I had ewcm which would usually indicate O. Has anyone heard of this? I really don't have any cramping or anything right now. But I did maybe 5 days ago. Does this sound normal? Do OPKs always predict correctly when you are taking Clomid? Thanks for any advice!!

Hey everyone I still havent went for a bloodtest...figured I will wait til sat or sunday to take a HPT...i am still having the same symptoms as before...sore b___st, ect...i dont know what to think...maybe i should just give up well gots to go lots of baby dust for everyoneX

I got a + OPK today, so that answers my question. I am on cd18, so that seems kind of late to me. I'm just glad that I got a + test. I guess I'll start my 2WW now too! Good luck in your wait Christina!

I dont understand.. I went to see my Dr. yesterday and she said I did'nt "O" last month, according to the blood test. but I did have a + OPK last month on cd 14.. The same thing happened last month too. The Dr. now put me on 100mg instead.. I just dont know what to think anymore.. I also get my period regularly. Does anyone have any advice?? I really could use some..

hey everyone i am sad to say that the bloody curse hit me early this morning...I wish i knew what i was doing wrong..i am so depressed..i dont know if i want to keep this up or give it a rest..i just really would like to have another little baby in my family:((....well i guess i will stop there lots of baby dust to everyone else

CHRISTINA MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU...PLEASE DON'T BE SO DOWN..let me tell you my experience...it was short one but at the time it was a huge frustration... i had my first son naturally but conceived totally unexpectically while i was taking bcp's for almost 2 years...i found at a routine check up..after getting used to the idea and struggling with him for 2 years, i realized i was actually ready to ttc for number 2..i never had a chance to try for a baby (as no.1 was such a surprise) i was in the beginning very dissapointed with the preg and birth of my first one although i had no ms, and good preg...my birth was nightmare.. so when i started to actually plan number 2 i was filling my head with all the knowledge there was about how to conceive and everything related to making and carrying a baby and giving birth to them i was totally and utterly consumed, i was completely desperate!!!!!lol!!! i came of bcp's and straight away was charting my temp...a__suming i conceived on the pill i thought i was super fertile and hence thoought it would be easy to it again quite quickly without taking it...i tried month one more or less relaxed, month 2 i was charitng everything possible and checking i even managed to bd constantly on my most fertile days incl my O days and owned a O microscope...but nothing happned and if it did it was an early m/c or what they call a chemical pregnancy as i was 10 days overdue...then a very very heavy period..by month 3 i was devastated..i was like' has the pill ruined me? did my traumatic birth with no.1 screw something up down there?...i ate slept and walked and talked about conceiveing and even got my son involved telling him to pray to god for me...s_x became a baby making necessity and my poor husband as well as i really struggled to make anything happen..by the 5th month i was mentally and physically, and emotionally exhausted...i was deep inside convinced that it would never happen and i decided to focus on moving house...and just enjoying my size 6 figure and feeling more and more free (as my son grew up) things were getting easier and i had more time..i planned to enjoy it, but deeep inside i felt a void and a failure...it was terrible i was keeping a brave face but inside i was getting bitter and was devastated..i mean i got to know my body so well i bd on peak days as well as time my O. but another part of me was convinced it was going to happen..i let off reading birth and preg sies and, focused on my son whom i think i neglected due to all of this and just began to enjoy life more..(this was the 6th month after actively trying for the 5th and last time) ...then boom by the end of month 6 i realzed something was a bit different. for one i gained weight for no appearant reason. i decided to take a preg...and i couldnt believe my eyes...it was +ve... the moral of my babble... the more you focus on it and start to allow it to depress you...thats when it means you need to stop...i think by nature your body tunes into a rebellious mode where when you are so deperate and actively ttc to an extent it takes over your life and fertilty health...the moment you allow yourself to live your life again postively and leave the thought of baby making miracles do begin to happen...the only active thing i did after month 5 is to keep taking my folic acid, eating healthy and enjoying s_x for what it was and not for what it could do/create!!!try this for the next couple of weeks and you may be back to surpise us all ....

Hello ladies! I have been working alot lately and haven't been able to get online. I just read through all of the entries since I was on last. I finished my second round of Clomid and I'm on day 25. I took a hpt yesterday and there was a faint line, I did another one today and same thing. The instructions say that if there is a 2nd line it means positive but I am so afraid to believe it. I took an Answer test which says it can detect pregnancy up to 5 days before a missed period. Is it true Clomid can induce a false positive on a test taken too early?? I read that on the internet. I don't know what to think.

Leslie: any word back on your tests?? I have been wondering if you have found out anything..I hope you're ok.

HI WENDY...CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR POSITIVE HPT TEST AND HENCE PREGNANCY...NOW ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS WAIT AT LEAST ANOTHER 5 DAYS AND TAKE ANOTHER ONE..I DON'T WANT TO SCARE YOU BUT I HAD THAT ONCE AND EVERYTIME I TOOK A TEST AFTER WAITING FOR A WEEK THE LINE STAYED LIGHT...I WENT TO GET MYSELF CHECKED AND WAS TOLD I WAS PREG...BUT THEN I STARTED SPOTTING AND IT NEVER STOPPED S WELL AS THE LINE NEVER DARKENED AND EVEN DISSPEARED...THE LINE JUST STAYED LIGHT AND EVENTUALLY I WAS TOLD MY CERVIX WAS OPEN AND THAT WAS ABOUT TO HAVE AN EARLY M/C...EVENTUALLY THE BLEEDING BECAME HEAVIER AND I DID M/C...I KNEW FROM THE FACT THE LINE NEVER DARKENED THAT THE PREG WASN'T GOING WELL...SO LOOK OUT FOR THAT..I WAS TOLD WHAT I HAD CAUSE I TOOK A VERY EARLY HPT (4 DAYS BEFORE MY PERIOD DUE) WAS A CHEMICAL PREG.. I SO HOPE THIS DOESNT HAPPEN IN YOUR CASE..BUT IF AFTER AT LEAST A WEEK THE LINE DOESNT DARKEN MAKE SURE YOU SEE YOUR DOC...AND BOOK FOR A SCAN...FINGERS CROSSED YOU WILL BE A.OK!!!

Yas2000 - Thanks for the response. I am using Clearblue easy to detect O for this month. I know they say you can get a false + with Clomid and OPK , but I like to use them as a guide.. The doctor keeps telling me that my progestrine levels are still too low (2.2) to O, but I always get a + read on day 14 and 15.. Its really strange. I'm now up to 100 mg and yesterday was my last pill. Today is only cd 10 and I already am reading high fertilty on the opk.. I've also been getting more light throbbing, and cramping. I hope my body isnt overdoing it. Every month I feel cramping around cd 14 - 16, and the dr. said my body could be trying to produce a mature egg, but it hasnt succeeded yet.
