Hey ladies I have been trying to conceive the last ten years. I am on Metformin 500mg once a day and now Clomid 150mg. I did get pregnant in January but miscarried in March. I was on 50 mg of Clomid then. After I miscarried I immediately was put back on Clomid 50mg but it did not work for two months then they raised it to 100mg and it worked for one month and then the last two it didn't. So now I am on 150 mg this month. The side effects seem worse than before, hot flashes, mood swings etc. My question is have any of you had any success with these type of changes. I am also on Vitamin B6 0 mg to help boost progesterone. Thanks for any info. Baby dust to all.

Sara, i thought you werent due for your period for another 2 weeks? How come you are already testing? Thats awesome if it is positive. I have 2 more hours until my appointment.

Sara - November 30

I know I told you I am a compulsive test taker.

My period is due on Dec 3rd just like Thalia. I think the next three days will be the longest to wait then I'll go for a blood test saturday morning. I have a beautiful daughter who just turned 2 whom I conceived naturally after 6 months of trying but after many months TTC #2 I took clomid days 5-9 this month. I'm praying that this will be another success story. Good luck to you all...

My period is due Dec 3rd just like Talia but I’m hoping it won’t show up and I’ll go for a blood test saturday. The next three days will be the longest to wait. I have a beautiful daughter who just turned 2 whom was conceived naturally but after many months TTC #2, I took clomid days 5-9 this month. I did have cramps and felt like AF was coming with my first pregnancy. I try not to pick up symptoms anymore though because I’ve become very good at developing psychological symptoms every month of trying. I’m praying that this month will be another success story … Good luck to you all

Talia, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talia - December 1

Thanks for the support. I thought it would never happen for us, but I guess God has a bigger plan. I am nervous and excited about the next ultrasound. I got up this morning to take another pregnancy test at 5:00 just to make sure it wasnt all a dream.

Talia, CONGRATS!!!!!! I am really happy for you. I remember when I found out that I was PG with my son, I took like 8 test!!!...... I couldn't believe that I was going to have a baby. When Doctor's tell you, youhave PCOS can't have a baby with out fertility drugs you kind of get star struck. That is why I hope this works for us for baby #2 I wish you all the best....

How are you doing, jacksonkate? I am so impatient I can not stand it. How old is your son? Mine is 2. Did you use Clomid for the first pregnancy? I actually got pregnany on the pill with my son and now that I am tring it seems impossible. The cramping that I was experiencing has stopped. This sounds really weird but that was the first time I was sad not to have pain. I hope that it does not mean I am not pregnant. I did not experience cramping in the very beginning with my son that I remember because I did not even know I was pregnant until I was 12 weeks. Then it seemed like all I had was cramping until I gave birth. Has anyone experienced their skin freaking out. I have really clear skin but this month for the first time in my life it is bumpy. Thanks to all that respond. I am uncomfortable talking to friends and family about my trouble ttc. In fact I am very ashamed of this problem. I have told everyone that we do not want to start tring for a year and in the mean time here I am pouring my heart out strangers on the internet. I just don't want people minding my business or giving me advice. I kinda feel evil about the subject with my friends that are preg. I just want to feel happy for them but inside I am so jelous I can stand it. That is totally out of character for me too. I truly am happy for all of you women that have been through hell and back and finally get a little slice of heaven. Congrats to all that are preg.

One more thing to all the people worried about getting pregnant with twins you probually don't want a baby bad enough because twins are also a blessing and there are lots of people who would live to be in your place and if you are that worried about it lay off the fertility drugs.

Talia - December 2

Sara, I know how you feel being jealous of people who are pregnant. I went through that really bad after my miscarriage. I would always complain to my husband about all the reasons our friends shouldnt have children. I feel very blessed to be pregnant again. My doctor put me on 200mg of Prometrium every day for 12 weeks. Has anyone else been on this medication? Also Sara, you may still be pregnant. I didnt have cramping at all, my only symptom was a positive preg test. Hang in there.

jacksonkate - December 2

Sara, I as not on clomid when I found out that I was pregnant!!! He ( Ryley) is our miracle baby and a busy 2 1/2 year old. I understand how you feel about not wanting to tell your family and friends.... you don't want to hear the I'm sorry's and oh it will pa__s, you just need to waite stuff. Bless their hearts they do try, plus it is always easier to talk to people you have never seen or ''talked'' too. It is always nice to talk to other women who have been through the same issues and problems with getting PG. I wish you the best of luck.

I forgot to answer a few things. On how I am feeling? Well I have been a little moody lately, crying on the spot. so I'm not getting my hopes up. I do go for my serum test on Tuesday!!! so hopefully it will show that I have O, then we have to waite and see kind of game. I'm supposed to get my period on the 13th of this month.keep your fingers crossed. lol :)
