Yas2000, did your cycle change while you were taking the clomid or did your AF come on time? I think mine is going to be longer-which is good I suppose. I had a 10 day luteal phase before (when I did ovulate) and short 25 day cycles and it is definitely longer now. I'm 13dpo w/99 even temps..no pregnant symptoms though. Sorry if I'm driving you nuts, this is just the first time around for me and there aren't many supportive people. I'll leave you alone after this I promise!!!!!!!! If you know of a board with women in my shoes, let me know-I've looked and only seen some old threads. Thanks for everything!

You do know that Yas had no problem with getting pregnant, right. You are asking her things that seems like you think she took clomid because she wasn't getting pregnant and needed help. She had no problem with getting pregnant and only took it to try and conceive multiples. I think you would be better off going to BabyCenter and talking to the women with fertility issues there. I'm sure they would be very helpful.

Have you tested again?

Lauren - February 1

No, because it's always BFN! I get implantion spotting and I never got that either. My temp dropped to 98.6 this am. I'm just thinking not this cycle! I think I will try clomid on cd 5-9 next time, not sure if I will increase it. I'm begging my dh for another dog too-a puppy to get my mind off of all of this!!!!!!!!

hi lauren...i do feel for you....and i can understand the desperation....how long have you been trying? now from what i can read is that your not getting pregnant at the monts when you feel you are trying to do everything right...and onetwothree, i think lauren has not got fertilty issues...however...as much as i do believe it is helpful to read about women who have problems with their fertilty but i do also find that by doing that we begin to belive we have the same fertility problems.......when in actual fact we do not...and we begin to pancik even more... lauren...i will give it another couple of months if actively trying, stick to a good diet, use OPK's and take your vitamines and folic acid...from what i have read, yams and rosemary tea leaf tea are also good for fertilty....so i suggest you just keep trying..and not loose hope...you obviously have no problme getting pregnant either i think the stress is preventing you to get pregnant...so do give it some breaks in between as it may put stress on you as well as your partner and the rest of the family....i.e your current child who needs your attention and love...i dont mind you asking me anything...but from what i can read i was like this too when i felt it wasnt happening when i made sure i was doing all the right things from diet, to monitoring to opk's to bd...etc etc...but i think do give it a break after 2-3 trials...give next month a go with clomid and see what happens...but if it doesnt work again....give it a break just for a bit (as long as you can wait..LOL) however i would suggest to talk to your gp about it after the next 6-8 months if you are not successful by then and request for a fertilty check...he shouldnt refuse helping you otherwsie i would suggest to change docs.....tell him that you want to get on with the family thing and get your babies out of the way if possible...as it is affecting you alot and your family...is this interfering with your work? career? as it was mine i couldnt lleave it longer until 36 beffore i am obliged to go back to work as it will affect my pension and other rights...so i knew i wanted to get my family done by the age of 35 max....hopefully it may never come to that for you....and things will happne very very soon.... i wish you all the luck....

THanks Yas2000. Yeah, I'm trying not to stress and do other things. My son starts soccer soon-I'm sure it will be funny..a bunch of 3 yr olds running in different directions! He is wonderful and is definitely a full b__wn toddler. All we can do is keep trying-I did get pregnant twice before...i just wish this would speed up...I'm not getting any younger and we wouldn't mind having @ least 3. That is when I start getting impatient-i'll be 32 at the end of March! Anyhow, thanks and take care!

Yas2000, if you just ignore the negative people on the boards, you will be much better off. Just look for the people you know and like-especiallly when you are pregnant. Hmmmmmmmm should know that anyone with any intelligence will choose what advice to take. I contacted you because we had a lot in common and I am in the shoes you were in a few months ago-identical shoes. Hope this clomid gives my dh and I a baby or two!!! We are ready in every way!

tiffany - February 1

Lauren, You seem so down to earth and I really hope you get a bfp soon! Do you have any children?.....Did you get af today? Keep us posted because, we are thinking positive thoughts for you! Your Friend!

TripletMom - February 1

Lauren - I sincerely wish you the best in your quest to conceive. In response to your post that you "one or more.. you are ready".. you have NO CLUE how to be ready for triplets/quads (can't speak for twins.. but I a__sume that can be difficult also). So dont a__sume that things will be so easy. And by ready in every way, do you mean you have a NICU staff ready to be at home with you? or that you will be ready for all the heartaches that can come w/multiples??? Like I said you have no clue. And before you jump down my throat Tiffany - why dont you go to the forum that you belong in - for people TTC.. you are not having nor do you have multiples.

Tiffany - February 1

I believe I can go where ever I want. I figure everyone here has ttc before and I know how much you will miss me when I'm gone so I'll stay. Why do you care? Lauren, good luck and I hope you do get a bfp very soon. you are a kind heart and God will reward you! Keep us posted.

onetwothree - February 1

Gee my mistake. I forgot that even women without fertility issues take clomid. My bad.

tiffany - February 1

Oh and triplet, Lauren delivered a baby that was not alive so, I think she is very aware that pregnancy comes with all types of risks. Why don't you ease up a little.

onetwothree - February 2

Um tiffany, my comment was to Yas who stated that Lauren didn't have fertility issues so please calm down. I thought that Lauren would have the questions she asked about clomid and menstrual cycles better answered by a board with more women on it than just Yas. Lord have mercy.

onetwothree - February 2

To WOW. If you think I don't give advice then you don't read very much. Also, I don't know who you are to tell me to stay off this board since I HAVE MULTIPLES. Ta daaaaa! Yas is hardly on here and I don't respond to her very much. Also, YAS has said she doesn't have a problem with what she has done, so why would it matter if it is told since it is the TRUTH? Now, run along and try to be a hero somewhere else.

tiffany - February 2

I think most women on here have had problems with infertility at sometime or another. Why are you like this?

onetwothree - February 2

Tiffany are you asking me? If so, I don't know what you mean. I was stating that Lauren might find more answers on the BabyCenter boards. I was just trying to help and I think you might find a lot of help there too. They are very nice ladies that have been through a ton. I have had a lot of losses myself but I also know the feeling of being alone and no one can understand what you are going through. But when you are trying to conceive and also dealing with a loss, you don't want to put yourself of a board where women are pregnant with or have had multiples. I just don't think it is a healthy place for you to be right now. Not trying to be mean, just that I have been there and done than, ya know?
