i am on clomid(which can cause multiple eggs to release)i heard that if we have s_x more often during ovulation we better our odds of twins. could this be true?

the keyword is "orgasm" not s_x. Orgasm can cause eggs to release.

it sounds to me that that would be possible-if more eggs released then it would better your odds to fertilize them.

More s_x does not mean multiples. Clomid tricks our body to make more eggs. And if out of these eggs more than one is released then there is a chance that more than one will be entered by the sperm. In that case you will have more than one baby. Even one egg and one sperm can make two babies--identical twins. It happens when one sperm and one fertilize make an embro and break in to two cells. But the two cells start behaving like two different embryos. And go on developing in to two identical twins. Chances are not that common. I hope it's not too much a dose of details... But more s_x is definitely not the answer. More eggs/release is.

maybe if more eggs released due to clomid it could help your chances to fertilize more than one

The odds of twins increase due to Clomid telling the body to release more eggs. This means u will have a higher chance of Fraternal twins.
