My daughter had a ultra sound today and one sac was empty but the other one had a little one with a good strong hear beat...she is 6w4d...what happands to the sack...she had been bleeding and alot of brown and red blood for two days...

Sadly, VTS (vanishing twin syndrome) is very common with multiple pregnancies. Her body will break down and absorb the sac and the surviving twin should be just fine.

Why all the blood and brown discharge. Does some of it absorb and then and then what is left flow out??
