My levels where very high at 30 days, and I have twins. Just be much more easy on your self than I was. My babies came at 21 weeks. The outlook is bleek. Good luck to you tho. Oh, and getting big is a sine, but not for sure. I was smaller than my friend who was not as far, and had only one on the way.

I was at the doctor last monday and my leves have went from 1336 to 13000 .......could this be two?

My 4 wk (from LMP) hcg was 52. two days later it was 113. A week later it was 2706 and the week after 23,999. I've been trying to read everything I can find regarding hcg levels and doubling times. Any helpful websites? My doctors staff insists that higher hcg levels doesn't necessarily indicate twins and they suggested I wait for my ultrasound. I'm waiting.....today we'll find out!

My HCG level was 5000 at 4 1/2 wks (from LMP) then they were checked 70 hours later and were 10500. Do you think twins?

At 5wks after LMP my levels were 5000. Then checked 40 hours later and were 10500, is this normal HCG levels?

I am 6.5 weeks pregnant and my hCG level today was 61,700. Can anyone tell me if this is high?

I had a HCG done because I we can't extimate the due date. I have irregular cycles. My HCG was 23329 on Monday and I had another test done today. Would anyone be able to tell me how far alone I am.

I have a friend whose hcg levels are not doubling like they are too,she has had a previous miscarriage it is possible that is hapening again???

I posted on February 1st because I got an unusually high HCG level @ 42 days LMP of 38,875, plus I was showing very large very early. I wanted to give you all an update. I am now 22 weeks, still large but I have only gained 1 pound, I am having one baby girl!! This has been confirmed with three ultrasounds. My midwife said that the high HCG levels may be just a normal thing to be high in my body and I am large because this is my 5th pregnancy, and will be my 3rd live birth. Good luck to all of you. I have a question and wonder whether anyone out there has experienced this situation. I had a positive pregnancy home test on Tuesday, May 10. My husband and I likely conceived on April 24. On May 10, I went in for a blood test and was told that my hCG level was 316. Went back in on May 13, and my hCG only went up to 441. The doctor told me that I likely had more than one embryo implanted and lost one between 5/10 and 5/13. (I took Clomid, which produced three follicles - one a good size and the other two slightly smaller.) I just had a third test today, but have yet to hear the results. Needless to say, I am worried sick that I might have lost this baby. However, I have had no bleeding or spotting at all. Is there reason to hope? Can anyone help answer this question that I might have been carrying multiples and lost one along the way? I have yet to have my first u/s - it's scheduled for 5/25. Thanks for your help!

8 years ago I was pregnant with twins. My HCG lvl rose like crazy and come to find out one of my twins turned out to be a complete molar pregnancy. I chose not to terminate my pregnancy due to my son being totally normal. To make the story short....I had my son at 26 weeks (thank god he is 100% okay) and they removed the tissue from the molar pregnancy. I did develope cancer due to the pregnancy and I recovered 100%. I would like to say that anytime your HCG lvl is higher than normal....your doctor should take a serious look into it.

Hi! My hubby and I have had 2 miscarriages in the last 7 months...we've been trying again this past month....I am not due to start my period for 6 days...I am having bad heartburn and sensitive smell...I am wondering if it is too soon to test...Also my hubby and I are both twins!!

I have no idea how long I've been pregnant. My last period was 5/4, and my HCG level was 67,000 today. Seems extremely high...I worry about molar pregnancy, but I'm hoping it's just twins. I have an U/S on 6/14...does anyone know if they can tell a molar pregnancy within the first couple weeks?
