I am currently 16 dpo and got my first bfp on 10 dpo. I was on 50 mg of clomid days 5-9...it was my first month. I have an ultra sound on 9-27. I'll keep you posted!

I am thinking about taking Clomid to help me ovulate a bit earlier. 3 months ago I ovulated on CD 15 (normal right?) then last month it was CD 17 and now this month it is CD 19. Well DH travels a TON and we keep missing it. He left on my CD 13 this month for a business trip. He returns from that trip and leaves on another on my CD 13 AGAIN next cycle. That trip he will be gone for 5 weeks so we could miss the cycle all together :( I've heard that you Ovulate 5-9 days after your last pill. I was wondering if anyone had any opinons on this. How long after your last pill do you ovulate? I was thinking maybe i could take them from day 1-5 (some women on here have) and maybe I'll ovulate in time for my egg or eggs to catch his spermies :) Also how many cycles on Clomid did it take for ya'll to conceive? I know 3 failed cycles aren't much but its really hit or miss and this could take forever if I don't do something to help. We have even considered storing his sperm so that when he is away I can still attempt. Any suggestions?

After reading this thread I'm thinking of taking my clomid cd 1-5. Anyone else doing the same? Any other success stories out there?

Jessicabe3: I took my CD 3-7 at night before bed. You experience less of the side effects. Me and DH started BD on CD 9 hopefully it worked. Its still to early test will keep you updated if its a success

I took Clomid days 3-7 w/ an hcg injection on CD14. DH & I also started bding on CD9, & we bd everyday up until CD16, & I just talked to the nurse at my OB's office & my blood test came back positive...I'm Pregnant!!!! I'm so excited!

I live in New York, I would like some advice on clomid. I have order and received the Clomid w/o a prescription. I don't seem to have a problem ovulating, but I guess it's because I'm older. I take ovulation tests and it seems that I ovulate about every 12th or 13th day of my cycle. I have had no luck with a positive result now. This is my second month. I would like some advice from a person who has no problem ovulating and has used Clomid without a prescription. Can you give me the pros and cons? Thx.

It was just my second round of clomid/hcg trigger shot. I was taking 50mg.
