I will start ttc as soon as I stop taking birth control(the very first month) I think this might even incress my chances for twins even more.

mzwest83, I want to lose weight before I get pregnant becaues I think it would be healthyer. Also if I get pregnant with twins or triplets I would probley end up gaining a little more weight. I would like to get down to atleast 150 but I am so inpatient I dont think I can wait that long. I think I am going to lose as much weight as I can within 3 or 4 months but no matter what I weigh I will start the clomid by August. I would really like to start right now. I can't stand to wait. If I got down to 165 do you think that would be good enough? I should be able to lose 20 pounds by July and then I could start clomid in July and then after I had the baby(hopefully twins) I would still probly be under 200 pounds and I could lose the weight then. What would you do if you were in my situation. I really wish I could get down to 150 but that would take foreever. I weigh around 185 right now. I just found out about clomid a few months ago and ever sense then I have been wanting to try it. I think I will order it this month so that I will have it when I am ready to ttc. It has been 5 years since I had my last child. I hope it is as easy to get pregnant this tile as it was the last time. I reallt hope I get twins and if I got triplets I would be even more excited but I would be really scared if it were more than 3 but I dont think I have much to worry about.

SoReady - I have u/p, and have a dr. appt. for next week. The plan was to have it available in case my dr. didn't want to prescribe it. (I live in a VERY conservative area, and unfortunately, non-judgmental medical practice is a rarity around here.) I'm currently waffling between taking 50 or 100 mg. on days 3-7. We see the boys every other month, and they're okay with the idea of having a sibling as long as I have a girl. (go figure!) The oldest two have girlfriends so they're not very focused on family life these days, and the youngest is obsessed with his martial arts cla__ses and his friends who want to play with their Wii so all things considered I don't think we'll have to contend with jealousy issues on their part. Their mother on the other hand . . . she doesn't even want us to take in a foster child, so we're concerned that things could be rocky. Thanks for welcoming me!

mzwest, If I could even get down to what you weigh I would feel better about using clomid. I am healthy I just weigh alittle to much. The weird thing is even though I weigh 185 I dont look as big as other people that weigh that so I am starting to think it would be ok to just get down to 165 instead if 150. I know I could get down to that within 3 cycles but if I have to get down to 150 it would take 5 or 6 and I just dont think I can wait that long. I am very healthy and have been taking prenatal vitamins and drink lots of juices that I make with a juicer that I bought. The main thing is to be healty. I am 26 years old and my husband is 37 and I really want to complete my family before I turn 30.

Congratulations on getting pregnant with twins. What do you find out at your ultrasound?

Jusdee, Were did you order your clomid from? Did you also take robitussin with it?

crystal - I think that the more you can lose the better. with my ds I gained 20 lbs so I am nervious about gaining that again. I know that with multiple you have to plan for even more weight then with a single. So just think of what you will need to do in orer to better prepare yourself for multiples.

suburb - Thats great that the kids are open to the idea of the babies. Not all kids would be. I can see why they would want a girl though. lol I hate to say it but I am sure that the ex will not be happy about it BUT it's not her life! I did the same thing as you in terms of clomid so I now have both available. It is great that you are at least going to ask the doc about it because if they say sure then you dont have to worry about lying to them. Most people start off taking 50mg cd 5-9 and if that doesnt work then they move up either the dosage or the days. I am going to take 100mg cd 3-7 the very first month. I am positive that I will get my BFP the firat month and I want twins so I am gonna go for it.

Crystal, I lost weight when I was pregnant. They told me I had to gain more than the 20is I did but I was so sick with morning sickness in the first 3 months. I want to lose more weight before starting but I read online if you are over weight you have a higher chance of twins so I think I will keep the weight on for a little while. Not sure how much weight you are suppose to gain in a twin but I went to a high risk doctor (who I adore! He was on the health channel 3 times!) who told me to gain at least 30 lbs but no more than 40.

its b/g twins!! im so excited!!!!! i just went out shopping lol i need some help with some names anybody know of any good ones???? i didnt take anything with the clomid i just kinda winged it lol =] baby dust!!!

CONGRATULATIONS jusdee! that is so exciting - do you have either name picked yet? that might help you with the other name. it would be cute if you could pick names that had the same initials - i have a friend whose daughters though they are 6 years apart both have the initials N J. how many weeks are you now? do you have any left over clomid?! you seem to have gotten a good batch! lol!

Jusdee, I am sorry but I have not been following your story but I noticed you are pregnant with twins.... CONGRATULATIONS !!!!! Can you tell me (remind everyone else) what you did to conceive your little babies. Thanks.

Jusdee - where did you get your clomid? I thought that I remembered that we got our at the same place.
