the gal is confusing me i know 6 weeks isnt 2 months

the 1st day of my last period was 20/04/2005 i was 6 weeks on the 02/06/2005 i was 8 weeks on the 16/06/2005

if the 1st day of your last period was the 23/7/05 u could say u were 2 months on the 23/9/05 just work it out how u want.

if u r 2 months when ya 6 weeks that means u would be like what 12 and a half months pregnant when ya 40 weeks so how is it possible

yes, you are 40 weeks at due date, which is actually only 38 because you count from the first day of your last period, so really the first 2 weeks you aren't pregnant because it's not your ovulation time the day your period leaves, it happens a week later. Get it?

I will be 6 week pregnant tomarrow. Ecah day it gets alittle better for me. I'm only mildly cramping. Besides the tiredness throughout the day and me being alittle more hungry i don't have any real symptoms of prengancy even though both of my tests came back positive. my first u/s is oct 11th. i'm hoping to find a heartbeat. i'm sooo nervous b/c i haven't seen the dr yet. i would be due may 26th.

we work out has being pregnant on your first day of your period has its easier to work out has not all ovulate on day 14 .so there is not 28 days in all months has some of you know .but has each week goes you count like this (4 weeks -1month)( 8 weeks-2 months)12 weeks-3 months)and so on etc 6 weeks is 1 month and 2 weeks not 2 months thank you.

how many of us agree that 8 weeks is 2 months and 6 weeks is not 2 months

All of you who think 8 weeks is 2 month, check a prenancy calcutaor on the net. Here's a link: http://www.mybirthcare.com/calculator.asp Now check the first trimester and you'll see that they count from the first day of your last period which is BEFORE you are ACTUALLY pregnant. So they count 3 month as 2.5 months because the first 2 months you aren't actually pregnant because you are having your period on week one, and the second week is nothing, the third week you ovulate.

my dr is counting from the first day of my last period and i am 23 weeks which is over 5 and a half months im not 8 months cos thats what i would be if u counted 6 weeks as 2 months. its silly

its like this the first day of ya last period was the 1 january so count 8 weeks from then that would make u 2 months pregnant, and the fetal age would be 6 weeks.but when ya six weeks preganat the fetal age is only around 4 weeks. u r not 2 months at 6 weeks. i think we need to change the subject now, lets just say some of us think 6 weeks is 2 months and most of us know 8 weeks is 2 months.
