Last period was 23 June 07. The home pregnancy test gave a positive result on 3rd week of Jul. Has a worrying question to ask - initially there was some mucus like discharge n followed by brownish bleeding. Gynae told me there is polyp near uterus n that is the reason for such bleeding he wont remove it now to avoid continuous bleeding. Heavy bleeding since yesterday (the bright red colour), went to see gynae again today and was told of possibility of threatened abortion (from the sign of blood) as can't see the existence of embryo during ultrasound. even after 5 weeks of pregnancy. Done a blood test and the HCG level showed 712 . Will do another blood test 2 days later. Gynae did not prescribe any medication. Anybody knows what's had happened to me and where is the blood coming from ? also is it normal for embryo not showing on 5th week?
