Ovary Containing 2 Abutting Follicles

I had an ultrasound to see if I had ovarian cysts, which I found I don't have, but the results say that my left ovary contains 2 abutting follicles and then the measurements. I can't find what that means for the life of me!!

well, ab___ting means that it has touching boundaries so maybe they're right next to each other? that's my best guess.

My guess is that your ovary released two eggs if there are two follicles.
