I don't know about the whole genetic thing, it is possible, but best to ask your doctor. of course you are going to gain more weight with twins than you will one baby, you have two humans growing inside you!!!!!! I don't think it is that much more though. Maybe like 10 or 15 more pounds. Something like that.

im not sure either.i have heard people agree and oppose the whole genetic thing.i am almost positive that i am preg.,but the thing is that i have gained a LOT of weight in the past month !some of it i know is from eating everything in sight,but the food cravings are almost everyday !i have nevr really been skinny,but i have always got by with sucking it in a little bit,now i cant even do that.my belly feels hard in certain spots too.as for the whole twin thing,i know that they say its mainly pa__sed on from the mothers side of the family.which i do have 2 or 3 sets of identical twins on my mothers side of her family.

my doctor told me i have a higher risk 4 tubal pregnancy bc i had chlamydia. so cookie did you go through something like that? does any one have any advice for bc i'm prenant now but i dont know if it is tubal?

Hi, Can anyone help me first of all the last time that I had my period was on Feb-20-2006. It was normal. I had unprotected s_x on the 16th of march 2006 and first of all my period was late and then when it did come it was very light. I usually cramp I am not cramping and it is also usually heavy but its not this time. It started off as light pink spots then it got a little darker I was able to use a pad and now its dark and gone off in a 3 day time period. I took a home pregnancy test this morning and it said that I wasnt pregnant do you think I should wait and take another one?

I would test again in a few days, maybe a week. You may have thought you were getting your period, but it could have been implantation bleeding. It is a little heavier (like a period but lighter) for some women. If that were the case, your body would need a few days to produce enough hcg to be detected on an hpt. So I would wait a few days, see how your feeling, and take another test. Good luck to you! I am still waiting (or not) for AF to arrive. I really want to be preggers, but don't think I am this month. If not, we bought the clearblue easy fertility monitor for next month, so hopefully that will help us!!

K,i am getting very aggravated,i am getting fatter it seems,and its only in my belly,my b___t and my b___bs.i was anxious so i took another test today and it was a faint line again.i know if i am i am only going on 3 months this month,but is it possible to be preg and still only have a faint line show up on the hpts?

Hi again Sarah. It is possible to only have faint lines show up, it depends on how much dye is no the test stick. I know with First Response, I always only had a light line show up, it never got dark. TAKE A DIGITAL TEST!! LOL!! Really, honestly, this way, you will know for sure, there won't be any questions. It will be pregnant or not pregnant. Then you can stop stressing yourself out. Because if you are pregnant, the last thing you want is stress, and if you are, you should really see your doc. asap, especially if you are going on 3 months already. make sure you take good care of yourself so your baby is healthy, I can't stress that enough!! I'm getting ready to go out and buy you a digital and send it to you through the mail!!, No, but really. If your having doubts, call your doc. or take the digital. That way your questions will be answered. I wish I hadl your problem right now!! I am really feeling like AF is coming, cramps and headache for the last 5 days. My bb's are starting to get a little sore, but not too bad yet. I really don't want AF to come, but I know its going to!

has any one experienced a tubal pregnancy? if you have can you tell me some of the syptoms you had bc i've been have pain on alternating sides of my abdomen and back. i was wondering if that was a true sign that i may have a tubal pregnancy.

cookie- with a tubal itll be MAJOR pain on one side...ull want to go to the ER its so bad...that just sounds to me like regular implantation cramping maybe?

thank angel. it was really concerning me bc my clinician was saying that i'm at a higher risk for it but i wasn't sure what signs to look out for. but i plan on going to my first ultrasound in a couple weeks but if the pain worsens then i'll go to the e.r.

Last time I was pregnant I took 4 test because I got faint lines. when I went to my doc she said if any kind of a line shows up at all you are pregnant and there is a very very low risk you will get a false +. If you have taken more then one test and have seen a faint line you are pregnant and I would call your doc right away. All I ever get on those test is faint lines.

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for the last 5 months. I have read so many things about pregnancy and symptoms that I have made my self so confused. According to my cycle I should have ovulated on the 30th. If I am pregnant what should I be looking for and when since I am not due for my period for another week and a half?

I was wondering if I have implantation bleeding or am getting my period. My husband and I started ttc in August 2005 and my periods have been very irregular. I had one in September and another one on 3/13. Well yesterday I went to the bathroom and noticed brown discharge on the tp (sorry, if that is gross) and I still have a little today. I am also experiencing light cramps but no other signs of pregnancy. I just get so frustrated because I keep buying hpt's and they are always negative. I am hoping this is implantation bleeding since I got my period 3 weeks ago and it is "technically" not due until next month (if I were regular) What do some of you think?

melinda that may be implantation bleeding bc thats exactly how it was for my first pregnancy and serveral my friends said the same thing. as far as the other symptoms they usually don't start until after your missed period. i'm almost 7 weeks now and most of them have yet to start for me. in my first pregnancy they started around 8 weeks. so maybe its just too soon to tell. the urine test will not be acurate until your missed period. in your case may be you should ask you physician when you should take your test because your periods ae irregular. and every woman and every pregnancy is different. just keep your eyes open for other signs.

Thank you Cookie. Congratulations on being pregnant! I have definitely been keeping my eyes open for other signs. I keep telling myself to not get my hopes up, but I was so HAPPY yesterday when I went to the bathroom and seen what I hope to believe is implantation bleeding. I will try not to do another hpt until next week, it is just so tempting to test every day but that can be so costly after a while. Thank you for answering me back.
