So it is possible that I could have ovulated early, since my periods have not been regular? What are other things that may have caused the bleeding? Is there any reason that I should worry at this point?

No, there is no reason you should worry. Spotting during your cycle can be completely normal. You can also spot when you ovulate, sometimes when you ovulate, the release of the egg burting out pops a blood vessel......or it could have been implantation. Wait at least until your AF is due, maybe a day or two sooner, and take a test.

Thank you for the rea__surance. This has never happened to me before, So I wasnt sure what to think. Is implantation bleeding more bleeding than spotting? It sounds like from the other posts that some women were bleeding for a couple of days. Interesting.

Hello everyone, I read through some of the posts & seen that some of you are going through what I'm going through... or something similiar... So I figured I would see if anyone could help me out? I started my period this month on the expected day... Sunday, Aug. 13th around 11 pm. My period ended Friday, Aug. 18th... Everything normal so far... Well, a couple days ago... I come home from work and around 1:45 am I use the restroom and when I wipe, notice a little bit of redness. I think "Now this isn't normal". So I come to the computer, look up some things, & see that it's not uncommon for women to "spot" during ovulation. I then find a website to check when I will be ovulating... Ovulation began for me Sat, Aug. 26th (with it being my less "fertile" day)... This same night, my boyfriend and I had s_x. We have always used protection and only had a condom break once. This night however... His, um, p___s did come in contact with my v____a (not entering, just a little rubbing). From previous "research" I know that women can get pregnant off of a guy's "pre-c_m"... which most guys don't even know is there. So should his p___s have "pre-c_m" on the end of it and so much as get rubbed up against our v____a, we can become pregnant, although rare, it has happened... Anyways, by noon the 29th (which just so happens to be my most fertile day of Ovulation), I was no longer spotting, but instead bleeding. I'm very curious as to what is going on... 11 days after my normal period ends and I have more bleeding? My periods are pretty regular and I wasn't supposed to have my next one until Sep. 12th (2 weeks from the 29th). I'm not quite sure if this is just a rare occurance where you have two periods in one month (which is possible, I've had it once before... that one being more reasonable though... ended a period at the beginning of the month and started my next period at the end of the same month). The bleeding is a bright red and it isn't heavy, it's rather light for me. It's now Thurs, Aug. 31st. and I've not used more than 4 tampons. Normally I use one every 4 hrs at the beginning of my period... So I guess my questions are: 1. Could I be pregnant? 2. How long have some of you had your "Implantation Bleeding" last? (Yes I know we are all different and it varies for everyone, but I can still get an "average" amount of time lol) 3. If it's possible that I am pregnant... How long should I wait before I take a h-p test? That's all for now. If I think of more questions, I'll ask them later. i had light spotting for three days then it the same time of af could this be implantation bleeding?

I am suppose to start my period any day now, Two days ago, my boyfriend and I were having s_x, there was a little blood on the bed. So I a__sumed I was starting my period. But then there was absolutly nothing for the rest of the day. The next day, There was a little blood only when I wiped nothing on the bad. Then late last night, it got a little heavier. This morning it was light again. I'm not sure what this is. My periods are the same every month, It starts and it keeps on coming for five days straight, I mean you KNOW. Also I have been very tired the past few weeks. IS this implantation bleeding ?

I have been spotting for 7 days now. Brown....just enough to wear a panty liner. It seems to stop spotting at night. I went off the pill the 29th of Aug. Started my period on the 1st of Sept thru the 9th. Took an ovulation test on the 11th or 12th and tested positive and started this spotting 6 days later, and have been these last few days. When I have my period it is always red and heavy. Am I PG and this is just implantation bleeding or is this from my going off the pill? If the pill is still in your system....do you still ovulate?

I am 6 weeks pregnant and experienced what my doctor suspected was implantation bleeding. I had dark red fairly light bleeding for 4 days, and then the bleeding turned dark red/brown for 5 days, and then dark brown very light spotting for the remaining 3 days. Now for the past 24 hours, it seems that the spotting has stopped entirely. During those 12 days, I stayed off my feet as much as possible, ate plent;y of fruits and vegetables, and did something (just a couple of days ago that I read on this site as something that reallly helps): I drank LOTS of water. I thank all of you for sharing your stories and am grateful to the few women who recommended the water drinking. I truly feel that the water has made a huge positive difference for me. I've since read other sites touting the benefits of water during pregnancy, but I'm surprised it's not something doctors suggest more often when women are experiencing IB. Good luck to all of you.

Hey I am really glad I found this thread. So about a month ago I had s_x for the first time the day after my period ended. We used a condom and nothing broke, at least to my knowlege. I am not on birthcontrol and I don't even know if he even ejactulated at all but I wasn't really paying attention... I am only 17 and about 90 pounds so I am told there is no way I could be pregnant, but I keep freaking out. Am I just paranoid? Two weeks after we did it I had this brown-ish spotting.. but I figured it was nothing. I expected my period either yesterday or the day before and I did have cramps but then I only had a little bit of brown-ish spotting?Was it implantation bleeding? Sometimes I spot between periods and my periods are very irrugluar. But I also have a constant headache and nasuea with some vomiting, but it also seems to soon to have those symptoms... can someone please help me? I feel so dumb...

If you think you may be pregnant, you need to take a pregnancy test. Noone on here can diagnose for you if you are pregnant or not just by telling your symptoms. If you are irregular and you have spotted between periods before, then I would not worry about it. If you used protection, then I wouldn't worry about it. Wait a few days and take a preg. test.

I am 27 years and just had ivf, i have been told by the doctor not to take a test until 14 days after the 2 fertilised embryos had been transferred which means i have to wait until the 6th oct as a test done to early may not be accurate due to medication i was taking previously for my treatment, my period was due yeterday but didn`t come, i now have brown blood not enough for pad only when i wipe, hoping this is implantation going out my mind. Anyone know how long this would last??

Tammy- you seem to have some great knowledge and I can relate to you somewhat. I started miscarrying on sept 10 and it last a full 7days. my dh and I wanted to ttc right away (we already have one beaut.healthy daught.) so i used the ovulation predictor kit. I got a + LH for right when I predicted and we gave it our best shot ;)....now its 11dpo and I am having some bleeding. I am 4 days away from when i suspect i should be getting my period. It is more than spotting but nothing like a reg. period for me. Hoping this is implantation bleeding...fingers crossed...any similar stories w/ a m/c?

Hi Mary I started off with brownish only when i wiped for the first 1 1/2 days and then it turned dark red not normal though which takes me to day 4 i am on my last day of my 2ww and have done 4 pg test which all show as pos, however my test date is tomorrow so i hope it dont turn to neg in the next 24hrs as im still bleeding. I have heard that implantation can be brown or pink several times so thats good news, i`ve also heard that many women have been pg and bleeding and gone on to have healthy pregnancys so i hope this is the case. Firstly, its great to be able to read about others having the same experience. I´ve been reading the comments and i just wanted to make a general comment for all. Implantation happens between the 6-12 days after fertilisation, so if you are having it you´ll have to wait at least a week because otherwise it wont show up on the hpt. :0)

I need some help! My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 7 months. I stopped taking birth control 7 months ago and I have skipped my period twice since then. Not two months in a row but two months all together. So i'm not on a regular cycle to know if i'm late or not. I really thought we were preg this month bc my b___sts are hurting so badly. But I started my period today. I have cramping and its brownish. Could this be implantation bleeding?
