I need some help! My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 7 months. I stopped taking birth control 7 months ago and I have skipped my period twice since then. Not two months in a row but two months all together. So i'm not on a regular cycle to know if i'm late or not. I really thought we were preg this month bc my b___sts are hurting so badly. But I started my period today. I have cramping and its brownish. Could this be implantation bleeding?

I got pregnant in may and lost it at 7wks i experienced some spotting like you but it never stopped now i was suppose to start the 9th and the 16th i started some like brown pinkish spotting and i dont know if it's implantation bleeding or what it is but iknow people that have had it and then found out they were pregnant have you taken a test?

Hello ladies, I just m/c on the Oct. 11th and I did bleed up until two days later and well me and my husband done some "playing" not carefully either. But I did spott maybe twice since than, and now I am feeling tired could I have done implantation spotting and now may be pregnant? I really need some advice, this is my 4 miscarriage and I am worried. can anyone help??

can implantation bleeding occur after your period was due?? my period was due on the 15 of october. i took two home preg tests and both positive. its been about 5 days that ive been spotting light brown, pink, and today almost red. can that be implantation bleeding?

bbeautiful, When I was pregnant I spotted up until we had to stop my pregnancy... and yes you can have implantation bleeding around the time you were expecting your period. If I were you I would make a visit to your ob/gyn. I wish you the best and good luck.

Well you got the positive test so congrats, you may be having early pregnancy bleeding. Time to make you first doctors visit and take your pre natals

If you have gotten a positive result already, the bleeding you are experiencing is NOT implantation. Implantation has occured already in order for you to get your positive result.. It is possible to spot and bleed a little during early pregnancy..it can be a sign of nothing or it can be a sign of a m/c It is best to contact your doctor right away so you can get in.

I have a question please: I took 2 cheap pregnancy tests 2 days ago (from the dollar store for $1.00), and they both showed a faint positive line. Yesterday I bought a more expensive name brand test (contains 2) that is accurate up to 4 days before your period is due, and they both showed very positive. I had some very light spotting on my underwear late yesterday that stopped. Today absolutely nothing, and my period is due today or tomorrow. Was it implantation bleeding? Am I likely pregnant? Should I buy another test? Thank you!

I have read and been told by Dr. that false positives on pregnancy test are very rare. I would say you ARE pregnant. Congrats!!

I have pretty much read all the comments on this whole long thread. I wanted to add my experience since it is a little different than most. I have had three children the latest addition is just over 2 years old. I did not experience any implantation bleeding with my first two pregnancies. But with my last I did not even suspect I was pregnant until I was already 6 week. The reason was that I had what I thought was a period. It may have been a little lighter than other periods, but nothing that made me question it too much. When I finally found out I was pregnant I thought back and the only thing odd about it was the length. I usually only bleed 3-5 days, but this time it was at least 7 days. I can’t say exactly how many days, I just remember thinking this period is sure lasting a long time. I also did not have sore b___st or any other real symptoms until almost 6 weeks. That is what finally made me get a hpt. I had never even heard of bleeding like this while you are pregnant so I did not believe the positive hpt, but it was confirmed the same day with a blood test. Now I am wondering if I am pregnant again. My last normal period started on September 29th My cycle is usually 25-28 days and never less than 21 days. But on the 12th of October I started bleeding again, much lighter than my usual period, and it lasted for 7 days and ended with a very pinkish discharge. Because my period should not have come this soon, and because of my last pregnancy I thought that I might be pregnant again. I was so excited that I took a hpt on the 23rd. I thought I saw a faint line so I went to the doctor for a blood test the same day and it came out -. They said I registered 2 whatever it is they measure, and you need to be 5 for a +. I was so disappointed, and then I started reading this thread, and I thought that I had just tested too early. So I waited a few days and took another test and it also was -. But since it was still before my period was expected I thought I should try again. So I went out and bought one of the First Response hpt which is supposed to be the most sensitive, and I took it the day after my period should have arrived and it was also -. I would just give up and say I am not pregnant, but I have been so achy in that area for almost 2 weeks now without stop that I can’t shake the feeling that I am pregnant. Has anyone else had an experience like mine? Could there be something else wrong with me? I just don’t feel normal. Sorry for the long post.

Please, help me figure it out! Anticipation is killing me! I had my last period on Oct.23. My husband and I had intercourse the day before I was suppose to ovulate. About 10 days later, I started feeling really bad b___st tenderness or a weird sensation in my b___st that I had never experience before. I also started spotting... brownish color. I thought it was the implantation bleeding... but the spotting then became a little heavier... but not heavy enough to be my period. I'm a week before my period and I'm bleeding pretty light but now instead of being brownish color is red. I took 2 hpt but they both were neg. I know one of them for a fact was taken way too early... but my husband was really anxious to know! I'm confused if in dact I'm pregnant and just too early to test... or is it that I just got my period too early which is weird because I'm very regular... should I go get a blood test ASAP or should I wait until after the date I expect my period? Please, help! ... I've never being pregnant before and don't know what to expect... Thank you very much!

hi everyone! i was wonderin what you guys think, im 25 and i already have a 6 year old daughter that i did not have implanation bleeding for when i was pregnant. this month i was with my boyfriend on two of my fertile days around ovulation, however he pulls out always, this was on nov 10th and 11th. well i got my period a day late on the 24th however it was mostly just spotting, so light that i could wear a pantyliner all day for all the days i had it. at some points i didnt even have any bleeding. it was way lighter than what i normally have, and it ended on 5 days when i am always 7 days. i took two pregnancy tests but both neg, i dont know if its early and it was implanation because i read that you wont get a postive till after implanation and to wait till about a week after when your period would start. it also was the cheap dollar store ones and equate ones, i dont know if they detect early pregnancy. what do you guys think, implanation? and was it too early for a pregnancy test, i know everyone is different but some advice would be nice, thank you!

I'm slightly relieved to find so many women going through what I am...my husband and I have been ttc since September, when I went off Ortho Lo. Since then, I've had two periods- one right after the pill stopped and another one Oct 16. Until earlier this week, I have had nothing in the period department, but now I'm dealing with random light bleeding and discharge that comes and goes throughout the day...mainly going. I don't understand what the deal is. Taken many hpt and always negative. I have no idea how long my cycle normally is because it's only ever been normal while on the pill, so I have no idea when I ovulate. I guess all I can do is wait or make an appointment at the doc. Just frustrating because we really want this but it's all about the waiting game until it actually happens.

i am two months, almost three months late on my period. i went to the doctor about 2 weeks ago and they had taken a urine sample and blood sample to see if i was pregnant and both were negative. just yesterday i started spotting brown, it continues today but its a little more. my period isnt due for 5 more days. is this the start of my period after 2 months of not having it or is it implantation bleeding, because me and my husband have been trying for a baby. hope you can help.

Maybe someone can help me --- I was on the pill for years, went off in June. I had irregular periods (30-45 day cycles) from June til Oct. Got my period in Oct, then about 28-30 days later, got it in Nov. So I thought I was back to normal. I have had unprotected s_x frequently with my boyfriend the entire month of Nov and also the beginning of Dec. I expected my period to come last Mon (28 days after the last one), but it didn't. However, Frid night I went to the bathroom and wiped and had brite red, light blood on the tp. I thought it was the start of my period but haven't seen any more blood since then. I've had tender b___sts and no appet_te for over a week. Could that blood be implantation bleeding? Could I be pg? What are your thoughts?
