Hi Jazmine, I have the same problem as you. I had my first US at what I thought was 15 wks, but got set back to 12 1/2 wks and when I asked the US Tech if everything looked ok she said yes,but when I went to the doctor for my 14wk checkup last wk she said that my placenta wasn't where it should be that it was lying kinda low, but she said that it will usually rise as the pregnancy progresses. She told me not to lift anything heavy and try to avoid rough s_x ! I go back the first of Febuary to get a follow up scan to see if it has risen to where it should be. I know this may not be of much help, but like you it really worries me and if anyone has any info on it it would be appreciatted greatly! Best of luck to you !

At 18 weeks, my doctor told me the same thing. He said he would check it again at 20 weeks, and if it is still low, I would have to abstain from s_x. He didn't seem worried and a__sured me that this is very typical.
