My husband and I have been in the adoption process now for two years and are still waiting to be matched.
I more so than my husband at this point but, it just seems hard to believe in something when the answer is always no. We have had several leads and were recently very close to being placed with two boys that we and our caseworker thought were a perfect match but the boys caseworker had a gut feeling the boys belonged with the other family. How do you cope with the constant feeling if limbo and the waiting? I am so close to giving up!

I know exactly how you feel. We have had our hearts broken so many times with adoption. We where last scammed by a 17 year old girl who falsely claimed she was pregnant with a little boy in New Jersey. We had spoken to her several times on the phone and was sent all ultrasound pictures and pictures of her pregnant. Come to find out it was not her in the pictures or her baby ultrasound pics. We was devastated!!! WE are now speaking to a couple in Africa looking to place a little girl. I am very excited but yet SCARED to death. I don't know if my heart can take another heart ache. The only advise I can give you is GOD knows the plains he has for us and I see that if a baby is in those then I have Faith my baby is out there. You just have to have faith in God and wait on him. We have a nursery awaiting our baby thats how much Faith I have in God. Not saying my faith don't get weak but don't give up. Our babies are out there and I am sure you will be the happiest person in the world as will I when we bring them home. I posted about faith in adoption so I do know how you feel.
