The fastest way is to make sure you have s_x during your most fertile time of the month which is usually 2 weeks before your next period is due. Keep track of your cycles and try and keep track of when you ovulate. (using OPK or checking temperatures or just tracking your cervical mucus) You are very fertile the few days before ovulation, the day itself and the day after. Age and general health play a part on fertility. As long as you have no fertility problems at your age you should conceive quite easily though even fertile women can be trying for 6 months to a year before coneiving. In any one month the chance of conception in a fertile woman is 20%. Also as long as your boyfriend/husband has normal sperm count should be fine too. Hope it happens quick for you! Some people it happens first time so you never know!

Dear Erika, my hubby and i were stationed at separate air force bases so getting prego became a #1 priority for us. (I knew if i got prego i would be a mommy (!!) and i could be with my beloved hubby again!) Thus, it was important for me to get prego ASAP. To improve my chances, i bought an ovulation test kit and i did some research on when is the best time for me to get prego. then, i got advice to bring my knees into my chest after the sperm is released to keep them in my body longer and going in an upward direction, etc. i don't know if that's what did it or if i was just lucky, but i got prego on my first try!! i am 8 weeks now!! good luck!

Hi Erika! How weird...we are both the same age and have the same name. I have been ttc for 8 months with no luck. Just 2 months ago I began keeping track of cm, using OPKs and charting bbt. I am hoping that this will be helpful because the random luck way just didn't work for me. The OPKs seem to work the best to determine when you O, but cm can tell you to start bding like mad before you actually O. Best of luck...try not to get discouraged, as it can be easy to do. I think that based on our age we still have a very good chance of conceiving. I heard that the likelihood of getting pregnant diminishes more after 30.
