Mealtime Is Soooo Long

I too had a slow eater at first. I remember thinking that I'd have to allow an hour in the a.m. once I went back to work just for nursing. I don't remember exactly when it happened but all of a sudden he started being done after 15-30 minutes total. I think when they are really little they are #1 learning to nurse #2 sucking for comfort #3 sucking longer to bring in milk for one of their many growth spurts. My son is going on 9 months and I love the stage he's in right now but I'm already saying that my little guy is growing so fast. Cherish the moments!!

I WISH just 40 minutes! Last night she hung out on the b___st for 4 hours!!! Everytime we took her off she started screaming bloody murder. The good news is that the night feeds, usually only 2, last 10 minutes. She eats and then goes right back to sleep.

Erika- how old is she? Ben would do that sometimes in the evening, esp. during a growth spurt.
