i'm having a c-section done this friday. because of complications, my baby will be 36 weeks; four weeks early. this is my first baby. after i give birth, will the milk automatically come in? i just want to make sure that i can br___t feed after a c-section and with a premature baby. thanks in advance for your responses.

Your body knows to start the milk process by two things: the baby sucking at your b___st, causing the release of oxytocin and the removal or exit of the placenta. The sudden drop in hormone levels signals your body to start producing milk also. Yes, you can b___stfeed after a c-sec with a premature baby. Put your baby to the b___st ALL the time in the first few days. Even if she just wants to suckle a little bit, let her. If you feed on demand your milk will come in that much faster. Good luck!

once the placenta is taken out, your body knows to start producing milk. You will do great. I had a c section 12 weeks ago and I had an easier time b/f than I did with my v____al birth 3 years ago. Good luck!!
