I just recently(2 1/2 weeks) had a VBAC. I was in labour with my first child for 25 hours. She would also not come down and was in distress. So i was told that I needed to have c-section. With my second child I was told that I didn't stand a chance to having a VBAC and I was forced to book a c-section. I was very frustrated and decided to do my own research. I started looking into midwifery. I found a group of midwives and met with them. I can't even tell you how amazing my experience was with them. I was in labour for 7.5 hours and I did it without drugs. The midwives will do what is best for you and baby. That doesn't guarantee a vbac but at least you'll have a chance. Look into it and do your own research. You might even want to ask your doctor about his or her rates of VBAC. You might be very surprised.Good Luck and remember to be confident in your body, it does know what it's supposed to do!!!!!!
