How long dose bleeding last after a c-section and is it normal for it to get quite smelly down there when you do? also can it somtimes sting when you pass water?

I bled for four weeks. I found that it smelled similar to a normal period, but just make sure to change your pads often! I found it extremely difficult to urinate after the section (normal) so it did sting the first time, but not since.

I bled for about 3 weeks. Heavy at first, then light and then some days heavy again. Its normal. Pa__s water??? What do you mean by that? I never pa__sed water. It hurts to pee after a c-section since your bladder is releasing fluid, so it pushes on your incision. That is what I was told by the nurse after my first c-section.
