My dr told me to wait 1yr.

my doctor never said anything about it. i a__sumed i could get pregant again as soon as i was fertile. maybe it depends on why you had a c-section? my baby is 6 months and i would love to get pregnant again but it hasn't happened yet, maybe because I am b___stfeeding. did your doctor say anything at your 6 week check up?

I'm interested in VBAC, and my doctor recommended we wait one year. Otherwise, she indicated I'd have another C-section if we became pregnant before one year's time.

I have a daughter that was born by c-section 13mos ago.4mos after she was born i got pregnant again,and will be having my second c-section March 9th.

I had an emergency C 13 months ago and will be having my second baby via VBAC any day now. My doctor said scars should be healed after 8 weeks post C and that the length of a full term pregnancy was plenty of time to heal before attempting VBAC or another C. I know a lady who had a successful and very pleasant VBAC 11 and a half months after her first c-section. My doctor has said the only stipulation is NO pitocin or other labor enhancing drugs after a prior c-section, period.

Kaila i am happy that u r attempting a VBAC. When we decide for our second i want to VBAC. My baby is only 6mos so i think we'll wait 6 more mos before we try. Please update us on how your VBAC goes. Good luck
