I'm only 11 weeks and I have had pain in my abdomen since the beginning. I am exhausted, have seriously bad headaches and constant pain when I walk. I have talked to a doctor about it but he just prescribed Tylenol with codine and said it's normal. I feel like somethings not right. Plus I am the major breadwinner in the household and have to work. Any advice?

I suggest HEAT PADS---these have seemed to help every ache that I've had--I'm 15 weeks now but weeks 8 through 13 were really awkward as far as my abdomen. I had lots of posterior pelvic pain and heat pads were the only thing that helped me--couldn't even get out of bed for two days without severe pain!!! Is there any way you can take it easier at work perchance? Does if feel better when you sit or when you are standing up? Also, drink lots of water--that seems to help my headaches. All of your symptoms sound normal to me, too, but I'm not a doctor. God bless and get all the rest you can! There is light at the end of the 1st trimester!!!

I got a heating pad yesterday from my mother, so I'll try it. Plus maybe I can get some of those pads you stick to you for work. I'm an accountant, so I sit almost all day, but I just started my job so I can't take any days off. My job supports my family and my husband is the one that is going to stay home with the baby. I wish he could have the discomfort so I could work easier!!LOL. Thank you for your advice, and I know that God has blessed me. I keep having to remind myself of that as the pain starts.
