I have seven fibroids. The largest was equivalent the size of a grapefruit. Another the size of an orange and the remaining ones were sized like plums. I am mortified! This has put me in the high-risk category which has cost me my job. My doc says we will just have to rock and roll with them and monitor closely. What can I expect? It's really causing me some angst.

First try to relax. When I first found out I was pregnant they thought it was twins. It wasn't , but they found a fibroid the size of a grapefruit above my uterus on the outside wall. I haven't had any problems with it so far and I'm 27 wks. Fibroids can sometimes shrink with pregnancy so that is a good thing. Whre are yours located? This can make a big diffeence with your pregnancy. Also, do some research and read as much as you can so you know what to expect good or bad. I was scared too, but it's good so far, hang in there, I'm sure everything will be ok.
