I am 5m2w and I have gained like 20 something lbs. I feel it all over not just my tummy, especially my legs, but, and I'm getting back rolls. I have always been average and I am 5'9. I just sent my out of town family pictures and all there were replys were the same..."wow you look very healthy" tranlation you put on weight. I just feel so down. My dh reminds me that I'm pregnant and now is not the time to diet and I look beautiful but I can't help feeling like a cow. I feel guilty now every time I eat. I walk everyday with my dh but it doesn't feel like it's enough.

I'm feeling the exact same way. I was just sitting at my desk eating my lunch and a coworker came in and said 'wow, you're eating.' then he looked at me and said 'wow, you've been eating'. well yeah buddy, i'm 7 months pregnant. and yes i know i've put weight on all over but its just how my body is dealing with it - i'm short. but it gets me down too. i can't even look in a mirror anymore. the other morning i had a complete meltdown. it's embarra__sing because its selfish to feel this way. anyway i had to vent about this as well because it's society's fault.

First of all people are just RUDE! Second, we all put weight on differently when we are pregnant. I have known so many people that b__w up and get huge...and then lose it w/out effort with months of delivery. I get what I call a "fat suit" when I am pg...a whole layer of fat on my entire body...my legs look bigger, my arms, my face etc....but it does go away...most by itself and it you put just a small effort to watch what you eat after delivery and add a little activity...you can even lose more. So relax...because now is not the time to diet. Enjoy this time and worry about the rest later.

The doc says I'm gaining weight normally but some days I feel like it's all pushing out of my belly. I'll stand up and my skin is just killing me. I try putting lotion on it to help but man does it hurt. I'm like, oh god I still have 3 months to go and that's when it's really going to hurt.

I'm 26w and I have put on around 30lbs. I feel fat too but I keep telling myself that I am pregnant and there is not much I can do now. Try and enjoy yourself, indulge in some yummy snacks, eat healthy and once you have the baby work on losing it then. I was really hoping that as my tummy grows it would pull the fat from my love handles forward - it doesn't. Wishful thinking...

ITA that we all put on weight differently. I am only 5'2" and currently weigh 126...this at 35 weeks pregnant with my 4th. It's just a matter of how our bodies work differently. Some women gain tons of weight while others gain just a little. Just remember that you are doing this for your baby, and that after you have him or her...you can work to get it off. It's well worth the extra 10 or 100 pounds...whichever the case may be. Keep your head up!!!
