I am in my 6th week and have been getting real bad pains very low in the pelvic area. The pain is so bad I feel like I could throw up and double over. This has happened maybe 4-5 different times. Should I be worried about this?

Hi I am TTC and can't do a test until 27th. I have been getting really bad pains in my lower abdomen but I usually suffer with Irritable bowel disease which causes really bad pain like this. Whats different though is that it has lasted all day and has been worse than usual wheras it normally goes away in a few hours. Maybe this is a sign.

I am a cna...I too am at about 6-7 weeks, and i was experiencing the same things...I asked all my nurses and doctors at work, and it is completely normal...the sharp pains you are feeling are tiny tendons and muscle tissues that are... (*for lack of better words*) streatching so much they are ripping...but this is how your belly can become such a watermellon!! Our bodies are amazing things..capable of doing acts that mens bodies cant handle! Men dont have these specific muscles and tendons...so they cannot possible know the pain! What you are feeling is ok...but if any bleeding, or any SEVERE pains persist...contact your OBGYN immediatly. good luck and congrats Linda! and just a little tip for those pains...Dont slouch over while sitting,(cramps your muscles...making them want to stretch) and dont stretch backwards too faror too fast(cause more stretching) and Take long walks!
