i am 6 weeks pregnant and have been having brown discharge. i went to the er terrified i might be having a mscrg. hcg level was done and came back normal ultrasound was also done and to abnormalities there although no heartbeat yet er doc did state this can be normal and abnormal i need to see my og/gyn asap. i do have an appt with my ob/gyn in 1wk and hoping to hear a heartbeat then. i am currently still exp light brown dc with occ mild cramping, very sore b___st, exp morining sickness, and feel very tired, and queasy. i hope these are all still good signs.

hi.i really need someone to answer this question because i am so scared.i am 14 and i had my last period about 3 weeks ago.anyway, a couple of weeks ago i lost my virginity and me and my bf had s_x twice.i was really scared that i was pregnant.we used condoms but i know that it is not 100% safe.my periods have always been irregular so i know that it could be months before i find out i've missed a period ebcause they're really irregular.anyway, the last couple of days i got blood/brown discharge and i thought i was going to come on but i didn't, and i keep having it, like blood, but not - it really is like brown discharge.could somebody please help me, soon, please,

I am four days late for my period. It always comes on the 28th day and it is now the 32nd day. The thing about this month that has me thinking is that I had some sharp cramping on day 12 of my cycle. Nowhere near when I would expect to start my period. And besides that it is seldom that I get period cramping and when I do it's bearable. Every day the last three days I have had brownish spotting with small clots like many of you mentioned. It's not enough to make a mark on my panties. I have no period signs or other pregnancy signs however I did get something the other day that I have never had in my life, a hemmroid. I have heard that it is common for pregnant women to get hemmroids. I have taken two pregnancy tests. One today, the $20.00 digital E.P.T. Both were negative. I know it is best to wait until the 35th day to get a positive test but I feel like I just can't wait to know. Does anyone have any advice?

Hi, I was so relieved to hear that other people have this discharge, I thought I was the first and only! I am about 3 or 4 weeks pregnant (had 2 positive preg tests) but into the 2nd or 3rd week I started having a brown discharge. Sometimes it's heavy enough to really mark my underwear and other times, just when I wipe. I had a miscarriage 2 months ago, then one regular period since then. I'm really scared that it could be an ectopic pregnancy? I don't have any cramps or heavy red blood - only this watery brown discharge. I have been reading all about ectopic pregnancies and I'm terrified. I'm due to have a check up in one week. Do you have any idea if this discharge is normal at 3 or 4 weeks pregnancy? It just doesn't seem to be disappearing. Thanks....

Has anyone had this problem? I was supposed to start my period anywhere from July 6-10. I started spotting on July 7th, and it was just dark brown, not the usual bright red. I did not have any cramps at all. Which is not normal since I quit taking the pill back in Jan. I usually start getting back & abd. pains 1 dy before. This very dark brown spotting has lasted since then. It is usually only when I wipe, but there have been a couple days when I have to wear a panty liner, once even a tampon. It is now July 20th, and this is still going on. What is going on! I have a doc. appt. July 29th for my annual, but I was kind of wanting to find something out before then.. My normal periods last anywhere from 4-6dys, & I am beginning to worry now. Someone please give me some advice-comments ?

Hi Rose, You and I are in almost the same situation. My period was due around the 9/10 of July and I started spotting a week later and it hasn't stopped since. My b___sts are also sore and I'm really tired. I'm going to have a scan done on Thursday 28th July so i'll let youknow what the outcome is. I suggest you get a pregnancy test first - this might put your mind at rest? I test at the docs then again 2 days later at home (becos I couldn't believe it!) Let me know what happens....

Hi everyone. Please can you help me out here?? We have been trying for a baby (stopped my pill 3 years ago) My period isn't due until next week. Over the past 4 or 5 days, I've been having intermittent brown discharge - not much, but noticeable when I wipe. Today, it's become more pinky in colour. I'm having my usual period pains, even though it's a little too early for them. I'm feeling very emotional, and I'm seemingly very clumsy all of a sudden - I managed to drop 2 gla__ses and a saucepan lid last night! - I'm not a clumsy person usually. Done 2 tests - both neg. Dr wants me to have another test on Monday. No other symptoms, just the discharge and my emotions.. don't know how many times I've found myself in tears lately. ANY replies would help. Thanks

I have been trying to get pregnant for about 10 months now. For the last 4 months I have been having brown discharge throughout the week before I get my period. I've read all of the postings which keep saying that brown discharge is a sign of implantation and pregnancy, but each time I've had it, I end up not being pregnant. Any thoughts?

KW-This same thing is happening to me. I have been trying for 7mos. But this month is the first month that this has happened. It started out as dark brown spotting, for 1 1/2 wks, then my period (which the spotting started when my actual period was supposed to start) Anyway, I took a preg. test, but of course it was negative. Tomorrow will be week 3 of this very light, spotting and it won't quit. I have a dr. appt. Friday, I will let you know what they say, looks like we have kind of the same symptoms.

I am having the same brownish spotting after a positive pregnancy test. Going to the doc tomorrow and will report back.

I think that I might be pregnant, I haven't had my period all month long, last month it was normal, and now July has went by and I still haven't had my period and roday I went to the bathroom and found dark brown discharge on my underwear, it looked like dried blood but I really don't know and I'm getting scared. Somebody please help!!!
