i had s_x last night and brown discharge appeared

I am almost 11 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing brown discharge for almost a week. I also had 24 hrs of abdominal cramping (not severe) and all nausea and vomiting disappeared. I was convinced I was having a miscarriage and my GP thought it was likely too. However, the ultrasound scan showed healthy heartbeat! Nausea and vomiting has now returned but not complaining anymore!!

can someone answer my question?

cory, i was on the depo shot for almost 2 years. i was unfortunately one of the few that spotted my full time on the shot. it is not irregular for women on the shot to "spot". which is what i think you are doing considering i did also. if you want to make that go away, your best bet is going on some other form of BC (pills, patch, etc)... I went on the pill and i have a reg. cycle. Hope I helped... if it continues, maybe you should notify someone. Best of Luck. ... also, im almost a week or so late on my period, i've left previous comments concerning my situation, i had brown discharge about 2 weeks ago, when my period wasn't expected.. So i dont understand. Most of you preg. woman get the discharge while however many weeks preg. my situation is opposite. Anyways, I've taken two home preg. tests both neg. but... I'm sleepy, have a huge appet_te, and am late on my period. Can anyone help???? please.

Kel, If you usually have regular periods and are taking the BC pill on a daily basis it is unlikely you are pregnant. However, there is always a small chance that it is possible. Sometimes pregnancy tests give negative results if there is not of the pregancy hormone HCG. This should show up around 10 days after conception. You could try another test in about a week. Hope this helps.

thanks for responding Sam. I've been waiting for weeks for a response to my situation. Unfortantely I must have missed to inform the part about me not being on any BC as of now. I haven't been on the pill in about 3 to maybe 5 months. YEA it's been AWHILE. I'm just terrible at taking pills, but the depo has me scared it'll actually prevent me from having kids in the future (if you're on it for however long, it's SAID it could do this!! be careful)... So no, I haven't been on BC in a couple good long months, but yes my periods have been reg. Every 28 days (maybe one or two off). Well two weeks after my last cycle (in early sep) me and my bf had s_x, afterwards i had a brown discharge, I had this brown discharge for about a week then it went away. My period was due to come in a couple days or so, so i wanted to wait and see. Well i grew impatient and took the Early Home Preg test, (4 days before the per.)... showed neg. Then! period time came, but it never showed, so i took a preg test... Negative again. Well taht was sometime next week. It still has yet to come... On this whole website everyone keeps saying how they're 10 weeks preg with the discharge and 5 weeks and so on. I haven't even been able to discover I am yet,... but yet i have this deal going on... SO what could this mean? PLEASE respond back... It'd mean so much. I'm so anxious to know.

I had a miscarrage 11 months ago and it started off with dark brown discharge, then blood, i was supposed to be 4 months pregnant but the baby only grew 6 weeks. I would keep an eye on the brown discharge, and try not to be stressed out because thats what caused my miscarrage! Now im pregnant again and i just discovered some light light brown discharge, but just happened once, im still feeling the symptons of pregnancy, but iam still scared. Just try not to be stressing your self out.

I have been cramping like you do before you get your period but no blood is leaking. and I have had discharge could I be pregnant?

Kel, It is really difficult to know if you are pregnant or not. If like you say that you had unprotected s_x with you boyfriend 2 weeks after your period then there is definelty more of a chance that you may be pregnant. Ovualtion takes place 14 days before your period and if you are on a 28 day cycle this would be around the time you had s_x. I really don't know what to suggest apart from taking another pregnancy test in about a week. Also look out for signs such as sore or tender b___sts, sometimes an increase in discharge, nausea or feeling more tired than usual. If you miss another period I would definelty go and visit you doctor.

Tatiana. I'm sorry I really don't know if you could be pregnant. It depends if and when you have had unprotected s_x and also if your period is late. I would suggest you visit your doctor if the symptoms continue as you will need to get checked out.

I have been having implanation bleeding for about a full week now, is that normal? Also I have noticed the last two days the discharge has been a dark brown but kind of a creamy dark brown, help is this normal? love & luck

Hello I am new to this. Me and my husband have been trying for 6 months. last month 9/14 i got af right on time, but it started realy light and was a little bit heavier at the end witch is also iregular. I was due for af on 10/14 and on 10/16 i started what i thought was af. but it is nothing like my normal period. I don't even need a pad and having no cramps usualy when i get af i cramp bad. i am having brown discharge and a little pink spotting. I have taken a few hpt tests i took first responce early test and got ( - ) result. i took a test this morning and ( - ) so how long do you think i should wait to test again if what i am I am also experiencing alot of the signs experiencing is implantaion? any one had the same thing happen to them?

if you look up, you'll see my other posts.. just informing others that cared about my situation, i STILL have yet to start my period. im ALMOST two weeks late i believe. lets see, all i remember is LAST month i got OFF of my period on Sep. 12/13. and i have yet to get one this month!!! :( ut oh!!... i'm giong to take a H.P.T tomorrow I'm sure.
