Ladies, hello... I'm 7 days late, cramps, late night nausea, insomnia (not exhaustion), sore b___st, uncomfortable twinges in my left pelvic area. I've taken 2 hpt (First Response) as recently as this morning. Negative. I was in a bad accident on 10/5...took blunt trauma to my lower abdomen and bruised my bladded. I'm wondering if I'm preg or if my injuries and stress are delaying my period. Thoughts?

I had a wreck in 98 and my body suffered trauma..... it was 3 months before I had another period.

Ellie: I had all the symptoms of going to start. I was a virgin then, so I wasn't worried about being pregnant, lol.

Thanks...I can't quite say the same. Not a good time in my life for a pregnancy. I'll say a prayer that those of you who want to be are, and those who don't want to be aren't...if someone will say a prayer for me that I"m not.... xo

Hi I am 6 days late with no symptoms not even my regular period symptoms ...2 neg test. but I see all the resposes...and I guess I just have to wait...HPT's I see by the responses could be WRONG!! and even blood work could come out Neg. and be wrong.Remember we are all different!. I could show Hcg and you dont. What Im getting is for a sure result Test at 2 months of not having your period. Remember we are all in the hands of JESUS!!!! Lets not STRESS for it will be more difficult to conceive. And already our chances are very LOW. Do the research. Babies are MIRACLEs.. Now I Believe...Blessings!!!

come off pill in august, have had one period in october. i'm now 3 days late, period cramps but no period or any signs. shall i wait or do a test.?

Hi I have just had my pregnancy confirmed, im 3 weeks. But for the last 5 days I have had period like cramps as if im about to get my period. I have been re-a__sured by the doctor that this is perfectly normal and not to worry.

Hey guys, I googled "late period" and it popped up this forum. Good information here!! Glad to know I am NOT the only one going through this. *phew* Well, here is my story. Boyfriend and I have been trying for a few months to have a baby. During the month of Oct I took an ovulation test for giggles 3 weeks after my period. It came back with two lines!!! So we carried on ... etc etc. ;-) My period was due on November 1st. I haven't had any bad symptoms ....I am cramping like my period is about to arrive, but nothing. I am VERY moody, irritable. Boobs are not sore and I don't have any sickness. Based off the ovulation test, I would be 14 days pregnant if that were the case. I feel extremely bloated, am always hungry and gastric. All advice welcome please. I soo want a baby, but not the disappointment of a negative urine tests. (My familys HCG level doesnt show on urine test's until about 4 weeks along - so I would have to go get stuck with a needle, but dont want to unless I have to!!! hehe)

Pam - I am in the same boat as you are. I am 9 days late, just took home test and was neg. I have no side effects other than moody and eating a lot. Keep me posted.

sorry i aint got any answers but im am also bout 5days late i idnt have any periods til this moring but stil no blood i dnt no what 2 do reallt i was pregnant b4 but i had a misscarriage ive got cramps like im bout 2 c_m on any min but i havent and ive had sore b___sts sore bk and i feel sick now and agen but i did a test on monday and it was neg but its in my head tht i am can any 1 help me i just wnt 2 know can u be pregnant and stil have periodf apins thts all thanks kayleigh gd luck 2 u all!!!

i have been reading this site and am happy there are other women like me. everyone is so sweet and helpful. my last period started oct. 15. i had s_x 1 time using withdrawal method on oct. 27. my period is due either nov. 14 or nov 15. however, i have been nauseous since november 8. i woke up nauseous that morning and it lasted all day. i have been like that every day since then. on nov 9 i went to the dr. he did a blood test and urine test and an examination. everything came back negative.my dr. feels i am not pregnant. still, i have had cramps and PMS pain like i am going to have my period...i am not late yet as today is the 28th day and i am on a 28-32 day cycle every month. i just took a first response test and it was VERY NEGATIVE! does anyone think i could still be pregnant? being nauseous for 5 days is scaring me. thank you to anyone who could help me with information.

well, i seem to be like most women on this site - late and sore!! I'm currently 8 days late and have very sore and tender b___sts. I have no other preg symptoms like nausea - yet. I did a test on saturday which was negative and have been having period pains every day so far. I feel like i could come on at any time. i'm going to doc's tonight and will ask him to do test. i'm never late and so.....well I guess i could be pregnant. usually use the safe method, which may have turne out not to be too safe this time :D i will be pleased if i am, although the timing isn't amazing - but then when is it ever??

well, "if i am " is no longer relevant. After seeing the Doc and two pregnancy tests later I now know I'm pregnant! At 23, this is a HUGE shock, but a very happy one. Apparently, period pains are very normal as this is when the fertilised embryo is implanting into your uterus. wow. I'm going to be a mummy! well, good luck to everyone else. How long will these period pains last do you think? x
