The other day I was sitting on the couch watching TV. I sneezed and thought I was going to die. I thought my appendix burst or something, it hurt that bad. Anyone have a clue what that could be? I am 11 weeks and also have a lot of cramping.

The cramping I am not sure but the pain maybe a cyst. I too have pain intense on and off and I have cysts.

i agree with karen...probably cysts. i have them and they used to hurt all the time! haven't felt them is a while now so maybe the farther along you get the more the pain goes away?

could be stretching pains, your round ligaments that sup[port your rapidly growing uterus are located in your lower abdomen on the sides and when I was 11 weeks I am now 23 I uesd to get that at night when I coughed or sneezed too. ow! stretching pains hurt!!

I would have to agree with venus, the same thing happened to me early on in this pregnancy, I would sneeze and I would feel like something exploded in there. I called my nurse and she told me that it was definetely round ligament pain. The funny thing was, when I got farther along, it completely stopped. Anyway, I hope that you have a happy, healthy pregnancy. Hang in there, it's only temporary.

I agree with Taneika and venus. I had the same problem early on. I called my doctor and was told it was round ligament pain. Did the pain go away or at least lessen after a few minutes? If so, that is probably what it was. I hope we have helped.

I'm only 5 weeks along but have a friend who just had her baby and she had pains when she sneezed. It was just stretching.

Same here, sandramarie. This is my fourth pregnancy, and I've had that with every one of them. It's just ligaments stretching. I even get them when I stand up.
