I am 9 weeks pg. today. I went out to dinner with my brother and his fiance and on the way home my neck was so stiff that I could barely check the blindspots when I was driving home? is this related to the pregnancy? or is it just a coincidence? anyone ever heard of this or had it happen to them? today its a little stiff still, but not nearly as bad

I'm 9 weeks 3 days and have had a terrible sore, stiff neck for the past three days. I thought it was the way I was sleeping. Have you found anything that helps relieve it?

Hi I'm also 9 weeks and have had a pain in my neck the past few days! I thought it was the way I was sleeping also. I was thinking of trying icy hot or something. Does anyone know if that's safe?

I went to the doctors office on 2/13/06. Unfortunantley my pain was so unbearable I couldn't sleep at all the night before my doctor said they were muscle spasams. He prescribed a muscle relaxant to ease the pain. I took one of the pills.To my surprise I felt better muscle wise;However, I didnn't like the way that the baby moved inside instead of brisk strong movement the feeling felt numb and dull when the baby moved inside me. So guest what ladies that was my first and last pill I'll just keep applying a heat pad to neck area and pray for relife. Well all is well thank God because movement was once again normal that next evening.
