I went through some of the same things back in August. We lost our first at about 5 weeks. Of course, it was devastating, but God never puts more on us than we can handle. We are all strong women and will prevail. We are now pregnant again and having more symptoms than I ever thought about having the first time. I go for my first appointment on Wednesday, so I am excited but a little nervous. I will continue to pray for each and every one of you. Just walk in faith. SW

I found out straight away that I was pregs as its my second time round. I feel so lucky to say I have the most amazing almost 5 yrs old daughter whom is perfect in everyway and I adore her, anyway I had to go for an early v____al scan as I starting bleeding after intercourse with my partner we were horrified and really worried. I had the scan done and to my absolute horror my heart sank and the doctors were talking as if I wasn't there. I just saw an empty sac. I felt sick I was in a daze. I have been booked in for another scan which will be week 5 to see if any development has happened the waiting is killing me Im trying to think positively but don't want to fall to pieces if they say my baby has gone to be an angel. Im still spotting I have been ever since but haven't had any sharp pains just period pains where i should having a period. I just want to say that my prays and thoughts are with you all you are all so brave its true from the day you find out your pregs your life is never your own its so worrying and the worrying never stops.

I can understand you all. I miscarried twice in the last year. I am pregnant again, but not to sure about how far along I am. I thought maybe 9 weeks (due to a 2 day period in early October) or 5 weeks (from my last period which was 2 days). I never really thought that I could be less then that though. When I went to get a u/s done today, I was not really nervous at all, thinking the best. BUt when I was there they said they saw nothing at all. I have ahd no pain, no bleeding at all. When I went and spoke with the dr, she thinks that I am really early in my pregnancy (like 3 weeks). It would make sense, as my husband and I were trying then. I hope this is true. Everyone I talked to is pretty sure that I am just early. The only thing is, the guy doing the u/s said first that maybe (he did not say for sure at all) that it might be an ectopic pregnancy. They saw nothing in the tubes though and said that I could just be to early. Any advice?? Does anyone know what week you would usually start to feel pain and bleeding related to an ectopic pregnancy?? I was told really early on (like what I am now), but I am feeling nothing, so I am thinking positively. I am trying to worry, and everyone is saying this. We are praying things work out. So anyone who does pray, please pray for us. The 2nd miscarriage this past april really made it hard on my husband. Thanks all and I am hoping and praying the best for all of you.

I can hardly believe how many women are in this boat. I myself went for my first check up yesterday at what I thought was 11 week. The doctor could not find a heart beat and when I looked at the picture on the screen the sac looked empty except for a small white line on the side. He told me not to worry yet and to come back in a week for another scan and they took a blood smaple for that HCG? level. I was so upset yesterday as is my husband. I just don't know how worried to be. I have had not problems at all. Any thoughts? Could the baby be alright?

I'm 8 weeks pregnant with an empty sac, but my Hcg levels are still going up. We had a super hi-tech 3-d ultrasound and couldn't see anything .Any hope for the heart broken? No spoting, everything else is completely normal.

I went thru this only a couple of weeks ago. The sac was empty and I was measuring 7 weeks. They left it a week and re scanned but I was one of the unlucky ones, the sac was still empty. Had a ERPC Thursday 11 nov 2004. Am devastated. Was my 3rd loss. Had a stillborn baby girl at 41 weeks in feb 01, m/c (baby died in utero) in July 01. Was blessed with a healthy son, now 2yrs 4 months in July 02, now this loss. Had no support from my parents at all, just my husband and his family. Cant stop the crying......

i have not visited the website for ages and there is alot of things happened since then. Debbie keep your spirits up it will happen for you and your partner. I am 6 weeks pregnant and all is well at the moment, i have also suffered alot of miscariages one at 5 months and 3 in the early weeks of pregnancy but i also have 2 daughters who are fit and well. When the time is right it will happen and i am really looking forward to you coming back on here and telling us you are pregnant and everything is fine. Keep smiling and give your little boy plenty of kisses and cuddles take care god bless and hope to here from you soon.

Im 6 weeks from conception which would make me 8 Weeks from LMP, 2 weeks ago I went and had my first Vaginal Ultrasound due to Light bleeding and spotting that lasted for about 6 days, All they seen was an empty sac and said I probably have a blighted ovum. My HCG Levels have been increasing but not doubling every 48 hrs, I had another v____al ultrasound @ 5.5 weeks from Conception and sure enough there was a yolk sac and a fetal pole. Now I go back in 3 days and were hoping for a heartbeat. Please keep me in your prayers.

Hey girls, I found out that I am pregnant 2 weeks ago, based on LMP that placed me at 7 weeks 2 days, today I went for an ultrasound, (internal) and at first she found a cyst (common in pregnancy) in my right ovarie, which explains my pain. Then she fould the yolk sac,but couldnt see bub. She then said I was measuring at 6 weeks. By this time I was ready to cry. As she was telling me to have a bloodtest, bub popped into vision from the other side of the yolk sac...and there was a heartbeat 128bpm and bub measured at 4mm (6 weeks 3 days) Sometimes, the radiologists dont look properly, so to those who are having ha__sles, ASK FOR and internal (transv____al) Bub looks like a peanut right now!!! My ob thinks Im around 6 weeks or so...My 1st two HCG tests doubled the third did not double but increased to 6200. Since I have already had 1 ectopic and lost that tube she wants to keep an eye on me. I had a vag u/s last night and the sac was definetly visible but no pole or heartbeat. The xray tech said she thought it was most likely not a "viable" preg. My heart is broken...do you guys think there is still hope?? Should I get another ultrasound next week??

I am in the same boat. My LMP was Oct. 20 so I thought I was about 6 weeks pregnant. Went to the ER last week for spotting and cramping and they did a v____al U/S and found sac no baby. I went for repeat HCG and they more than doubled. I am so scared. My repeat U/S is Monday. I have had very few symptoms of pregnancy except sore b___sts and I think today they are less sore so that worries me. My only hope is that I am only lightly spotting and my last HCG was good. They said maybe I wasn't as far along as I suspected. They think I am a week and 2 days less than what LMP says. Is that possible? And would my HCG have doubled if the baby already quite growing or if it was a blighted ovum?

i found out i was 5 weeks pregnant had some severe cramping no bleeding had a v____al u/s done there is a sac with a white dot no pole they told me to come back in two weeks i am very worried this is my first pregnancy any advice. HEY EVERYBODY, I AM EXPERIENCING SOME OF THE SAME THINGS AS YOU ARE. I JUST HAD A FEW QUESTIONS AND WAS WONDERING IF YOU MIGHT HAVE SOME ANSWERS. I AM SUPPOSE TO BE 6 WEEKS AND 3 DAYS. TODAY I WENT FOR A VAG./U AND HED AN EMPTY SAC. MY PROGESTERONE LEVEL WAS 12, AND MY HCG WAS 851. THEY TOLD ME TO COME BACK IN ONE WEEK FOR MORE MORE TEST. THEY ALSO PUT ME ON PROGESTERONE. I'M NOT REALLY SURE HOW TO FEEL. ANY HELP OR SUGGESTIONS? THANKS!
