TTC After Depo Need Advice

I can't get anyone on facebook to really listen to my question and give me a good answer, so I will ask here. :) I am 23 years old, and are TTC LO number two. We have a daughter who turned 3 last Saturday. :) She needs a little brother or sister sometime very soon. :) Here's my dilemma.. when I was 6 wks postpartum I had the IUD put in. At 12 wks postpartum I had it taken out because it hurt really badly. I was then put on the Pill in April of 2009 and took it until December. I don't remember my reasons for this now, but I went to the health department on December 30, 2009 and they told me about the Depo shot, and I took it until December 30, 2010 because I would have 20 day periods and it hurt really badly. I had also heard it messed with fertility. I went back on the Pill immediately following taking my last shot, and I took the Pill from January 2011 until August 2011, because we wanted to start TTC. We used a condom from August until November, and my periods were perfect. Started on the first of the month, EVERY MONTH without fail, ovulation was right on track as well. It looked like as soon as we took that condom off, we were good to go lol. Obviously not. As soon as the condom came off, my periods have been WEIRD. I started 5 days late in December 2011, then didn't start again until January 13, 2012, then didn't start until February 18. I've been late every time, and I got my hopes up every time thinking I actually got pregnant. I don't even know when to calculate ovulation at all anymore. My periods are nuts and I see signs of what I think might be ovulation a couple of days after my period ended. I am so confused. I do not know the first thing about ovulation kits. I don't want to buy one if I can only use it once and have it tell me I am not ovulating! lol that doesn't help at all. It was SO EASY getting pregnant the first time 4 years ago.. I am so ready to have my second baby, and I really want this to happen for us. I keep getting disappointed by being late every month. All my friends have had their second and one even had her third since I had my daughter and I am honestly tired of seeing everyone get pregnant and it doesn't happen for me. What could I do to increase my chances of conceiving.. now that you know my entire life history? lol
