Want A Baby But Starting New Job

Hi everyone. I'm a nursing student and will be starting my new nursing job in October/November. I'm going to be 30 years old later this year and hubby and I want to start TTC. However, don't know when would be an okay time to start TTC considering that I won't be starting my job for another 4 or so months. If we started trying next cycle and I get preggers right away, I could be 3 months when I start my job. Anyone have any suggestions? Anyone been in this situation?

Congratulations on qualifying for a profession that will be in high demand in the foreseeable future. Congratulations on deferring motherhood until an appropriate moment! You have five more years where getting pregnant will be pretty easy, and at least five more after that when it should not be difficult. Put yourself in the position of an employer looking to hire you. Legalities aside, she would half way be expecteing you to get pregnant in the not distant future. Knowing it a done deed already, she might think it better you re-apply after that life experience was behind you - by the time you were trained and doing useful work, you would be gone again. In the nursing profession, as anxious for employees as it is, she might be glad to sign you on regardless. GL!
